This was hilarious!! You've parodied it so well. I'm another from Essex (living elsewheere now) so it might be my job to do a bit of rumour control.

Lilli's accent is pretty accurate, but the show itself is only true of a portion of Essex. Beautiful countryside, lovely normal people with decent speech and the notorious part next to it. It's mostly the A13 corridor but the show is painfully accurate for the culture it shows. It's not acting- it's showing off. I went to school with a few of them.

Well I guess there is this group of people in every country, for example here in The Netherlands there's this programme and one of the participants is nicknamed 'Barbie' because she looks so fake!
