He is clearly turning the wheel and from the outside view it appears that the wheels are possibly not turning. Therefore there could be a general steering failure, but not the power steering. :)

The steering malfunctioned. It clearly shows this if you look at the front wheels of the car which are turned left even as the driver turns wheel to the right.

Steering was fine (as far as I see).

At 0:05 the guy fall off on the left side of the car... but at 0:27 he's falling on the right side, so the wheels that seems to be turned left are in fact turned right.

The F50 doesn't have ABS... that old fuck just locked the front wheels :)

look at the wheels at 0.24 you can see there is no trace of right steer, when you see the bloke steering before he drops into that pit he is applying ful RIGHT LOCK, the video at 0.24 shows everyone he had no control over the front wheels.

It looks like the second angle is actually a mirror image. You can see the guy fall off the opposite side of the car in the same way as he did from the in car video. Because of that I don't think the steering broke. Looks like it's the fault of the corpse in the driver's seat. If you are understeering that bad you can't just keep turning the steering wheel. It will only make it worse.

I guess if he can buy an F50 he can do whatever he wants with it.

The steering rack didn't break... He hit understeer and it appears that he then locked the brakes (the F50 lacks ABS). These cars can reward a skilled driver, but they dont embrace ameteurs.

That old guy didn't have the reflexes or the skills to recover. Not the cars fault that the driver was an old dick who should have stuck to Citroens/Pugs. By the way, Ferrari shits all over Lambo. This is coming from somebody who will admit that Lamborghini make a mean road car.
