Ironically, this show featured Mother Goose and Grimm 20% more then the actual COMIC strip features Mother Goose and Grimm. XD
Don't get me wrong, I love the comic, and Mike Peters can do funny stuff like nobody else can, but he seems to just be content shoehorning Grimm into a funny joke where he doesn't really belong or do anything.
Another Saturday morning classic I remember fondly, along with flipping through the weekend Venture fliers in the newspapers, looking at toys I wished for but couldn't have. Does anyone else think that Courage the Cowardly Dog was based off this?
I loved watching this cartoon on Saturday Mornings along with Garfield. I love how hyperactive Grimm was. And it stars Mitzi McCall as Mother Goose, Charlie Brill as Grimm, Greg Burson as Attila, and Eddie Deezen as Ham the Pig.
I'm downloading this as well. Lord how I wish this would be on dvd! This would have made such a great series on dvd! I used to watch this all the time on Saturdays. I wish people out there would have more of this cartoon. :D
It's amazing you still have videos of all these classic CBS Saturday morning cartoon shows well over a decade after they first aired. On behalf of our generation, thanks.
Funny thing is that this show came on years before I even knew about the comic strip because my hometown newspaper doesn't print it.
Well, maybe not killed; we got to see some good old cartoons for the first 10 years on CN, my man. After the advent of Spongebob, well...it was all downhill. When Fox stopped showing weekday cartoons, it was the final nail in the coffin. Now, kids can only get weekend cartoons on cable..oh, and lest we forget , the [shudder] CW....ewwe
I always the thought that the cat (Attila?) was fat but it was always skinny in the comics in the newspapers, now I know that I was right...well half right atleast.
Yeah, at the time this show was made, Attila was a round, fat cat in the comics. At some point a few years later, Mike Peters changed him into the skinny shrimp he is now.
I realized that it was incomplete after I uploaded it. I have the credits for both seasons, but they aren't clean -- they have a voiceover of what is coming up next.
Hey, could you upload one of the "unclean" ones anyway? I'd love to hear the whole thing again, annoying voiceover and all. (To think we used to be irritated by those---now most of the time they don't run the real credits at ALL.)
Oh wow!!! I LOVED this show when I was a kid! It was my favorite show next to Garfield!! I wish they would put it on DVD! I remember I actually called the company that made it and asked them if they would sell me tapes of the show because my sister taped over all I had!
oh my god, that guy with the paintbrush, I don't remember why, but totally remember him!

@comgeek24 Funny you should mention that; Grimm's scream sounds an awful lot like Courage's. Maybe they were separated at birth? :P

Did you know that this show was one of the first cartoons that Stephen Hillenburg had worked on? That's right, the creator of Spongebob Squarepants.

Cool.
Do you have a full closing credits? The one uploaded in incomplete. Either from the first or second season will be fine.
