  • Does anyone knows the name of the first music? She made me want it *-*

  • Although I'm not s great fan of tribal, nothing wrong with it just not my thing, I have to say it was a pleasure to watch her do tribal so well with such nice expressions - something I feel is often lacking in tribal

  • i liked her arms movements.. but i think she should've relaxed her arms a lil bit more it would've come out really fluid

  • Anyone wanna no the last song its Highland

  • really beautiful!

  • Go kamara! I agree - she has real talent. The 'could be a little more fluid with the arms comment' would be if you're really hard pushed to find any fault at all. Thought it rocked xx

  • that was very nicely done. she definately has talent. the only thing i would pick apart here is that her arms and hands seem really stiff. and some movements arent as fluid as they couldve been. but she obviously has talent and she's very good as what she does. that was a great performance.

  • This is tribal, and the arms are not as "fluid" as they are in cabaret. She rocks.

  • oh she totally rocks. i just thought her arms were a bit stiff when they couldve been more um....flowy. lol. but yeah i know the whole tribal/cabaret difference. i am a tribal girl myself. i didn't mean to pick anything apart here. i loved the performance.

  • um... if anything the arms are MORE fluid in tribal than in cabaret.

  • We do the zaghareet to let people know they can make noise. Sometimes the audience thinks they have to be quiet and just watch. It is amazing to see how some people loosen up and enjoy the show more when they realize that they can "make some noise"! She is a wonderful dancer.

  • I think if the music was edited different that would not have been necessary.

  • Beautiful. It's depressing she abandoned the veil so quickly! I can't do veil work, but I think it is simply stunning. Gah, I wish I could do isolations as well as she can! But I did think that was a little egotistical when she did a gypsy call (for lack of a better word) for herself. That's like clapping for yourself in an encoure during a play. But, I guess it was to get the crowd involved.

  • Kamara rocks in a big way as a teacher, a dancer and a human being. I'm sooo fortunate to be in a troupe with her. :) As far as her zaghareeting (gypsy call) for herself, it was not an ego thing. We normally dance American Tribal Style and zaghareet at various times during the performance. It's more of a "this is such a blast!" vocalization than a call for the audience to show appreciation. Does that make sense?

  • Zaghareeting? I'll have to make a note of that. I love doing that. ^_^ Hehe, but yes, it makes complete sense now. I do Renaissance Faires, and we normally do it for one another, but I don't think I've seen it like this though. But I completely understand now. Thank you so much! I'm just glad no one bit my head off about it. Hehe. She is wonderful though. I'm into American Tribal as well, but I'm beginning off more traditional.

  • Rachel Brice & her troupe zaghareet on stage all the time, as does our troupe. It's an expression of joy. I do like your term "gypsy call," though!
