She does, a big scary camera man filming her, only for a few minutes. But Bellona being scared is good, however bad that sounds, we want her to be scared of people and ready to run if she is released back into the wild, we don't want her to begin to like people etc... :)

That sounds, good, saving a life is the best thing to do, there are so many cats/dogs euthanized every year in shelters that cannot find homes :(

Is it very emotional working in situations like this? Do a lot of the staff gets genuinely upset?

It is yes and some staff/volunteers get upset at times, but we kind of have a "no drama" policy at the sanctuary, so we try and keep it inside until we are home and then we can be sad. It's important for us to be in happy/positive mode for our cats and everybody else :)

I was thrilled to see a large Bobcat running through the park, close to where I live. It was the first one I have seen that wasn't mounted on the wall of some Texas BBQ joint. :-(
