Some drug release endorphins, others affect the serotonin, the music hits the brain and while people are on these drugs and feels so good or intense they want to share their experiences with others because it's a mood enhancer. It has nothing to do with people who think they're, "Cool" Unless they're some pip squeek who's done drugs for the first time and has to announce it to all their friend the next day at school.

In Chinese they talk about being able to see you're own cage - your own limits - and obviously everyone has their own cage. This has some bits that are appealing to the ear but it just doesn't go anywhere near far enough. There are audio shorts from all over the place that don't sound like software bending sounds. That's hard! And it takes a scene that'll challenge and push you, but I don't reckon The Orb is in that scene. Much as I like this.

I pretty much started djing shortly after I saw the Orb in 1995. Always been a fan of most of their releases, however, sadly, the last two times I saw orb I was very disappointed. They sort of sucked bad. I couldn't watch.

Better than Cydonia; back to the old dub sounds, even before Orbis Terrarum - really like Live93 and the ilk. The dream. I saw Alex Patterson in Austin, just spinning, and realized my mannerisms and dances I did listening to him as a kid - were the exact same ones he did. If music can communicate states of mind, if Mozart can elevate the intellect, the Orb dips you in sensory deprivation and has you clamor out dancing like a muppet (I mean that in a good way)
