Imagine that the world have no idea that Freddie Mercury would be leaving his loving fans when this was broadcast in August 1991, but i doubt the music industry didnt know which explains the impeccable timing and kind intention to put out a Queen documentary as a way of saying "thankyou for the fantastic music all this years."
Freddie Mercury, u're a true artist, an inspiration to all those who loves music n knows that a love affair with music never ends.
@Celetic12 Watching interviews with John I always got the impression he just enjoyed the trip wherever it took him and I guess when Freddie died he felt the trip was over. The point is Freddie didn't leave, he died very young and it must have been incredibly hard for the band to come to terms with. Think the effect it has on their fans after all this time, it still hurts like it happened yesterday.
This must have been made before Freddie died because it was saying they would be propelled headlong into the future but they sort of stopped after Freddie died. But seriously how can you watch "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" and not notice that Freddie looked extremely thin and frail? And still say that Queen were going to continue into the future?
I was born in '78. I knew the "mainstream" songs but I didn't really know anything about Queen. I became familiar with Queen after watching "Wayne's World." I was still a kid & my ears weren't all that sophisticated. lol...Now, here I am in 2010 & in this past year, I have become a die-hard Queen fan! Such a shame that I am so late to discover the most impressive Rock band in history! Like a sponge, I just want to soak up every song, fact, video, picture, etc having to do with Queen!
@iamcasihart --my Queen story is very similar to yours, just discovering the full Queen experience in the last two years. I can't get enough information and videos. Thankfully there is youtube and of course DAVE FULLER!!!!
man its so weird watching this seeing that it was released a few months before he died and that nobody knew about him having AIDS...i think they call that dramatic irony?
ughh, I Still Love u Freddie.....and i still cry wishing u were still makin that magic,...ur dearly missed and Queen is DEFINITELY NOT QUEEN WITHOUT U !
I was 10 years old when Bohemian Rhapsody made the airwaves. Listening to a small am radio to WLS Chicago...I was captured and remained entranced by this one in a lifetime rock icons. Thank you Queen, for the Days of my Life..and for your gift of song. LONG LIVE QUEEN!!!
Its just amazing how after 18 years his music still lives on and lots of people still feel the sadness because he is gone that just shows that that he made such an effect on so many people
I thought that the video to days of our lives was kept tightly under wraps and not released until after Freddie died, yet this documentary was shot in August 91?

Queen lives in my heart forever! I'm so grateful to by parents who played Queen tracks when I was younger and now I'm a huge fan of that kind of music, btw I'm 14.
When I first saw this back in 1991, I really didn't know that much about Queen. When I first saw this, I was like where's Freddie because I knew their was some new interviews with Brian, Roger, and John, but no Freddie. At that time, I didn't know Freddie was sick around this time or dying. So I was kinda lost on that info.
To tell the truth. I don't remembered watching before or after Freddie's death, but I had really enjoyed this documentary.

Quite thin and propped-up against the mixing-desk. Still Freddie found a way to deliver. A "Champion"!
