Does anybody else think this church is a little bit phony? Everything seems to be centered around the individual and not God himself. I wen't to this chirch along time ago when I was younger, and the kids were playing xbox and what not, what it this church a daycare, a college campus or a church.

This church helped me open my heart to Jesus and God, its a place I feel comfortable to worship and praise God. I can ask questions without judgement and this church is my second family. Thank you God for leading me here!

How do we make the message relevant?
God is always relevant! Anecdotes and silly stories don't further spiritual development!
Sound doctrine and theology (as revealed through God's Word, not our personal stories) are the first steps to bringing a congregation closer and closer to communion with God!
Seeker-friendly churches emphasize the individual.
Christ-centered churches put correct emphasis on Him who is worthy of our time!
