I just started building my Flying V today, its my first guitar that I build and wonder how a wiring diagram for 2 humbuckers with 2 volume pots and one tone, and 3-wayswitch would like like. otherwise, good instruction on how to make the wiring, hopefully I got some better insight in the world of electronics
Best site for this is 1728 (just search 1728 pickup wiring, you will find). Lots of instructions. Not sure the 3-way would work with only 1 tone (which position would use tone?)
One thing I've found useful is to have a hotter pickup for the bridge position and something milder for the neck, like how Leo did it for the Telecaster. Your mileage may vary, of course...
you should consider guitar shielding
