Salaam Ishzahara123, Islam forbids the killing of inoccent people no matter what. Some people excuse their actions by interpreting the Quran the way they like. But on the other hand, Islam not only encourages but also demands that you fight back if someone attacks you or attacks any Muslim brother or sister country etc... So fighting against aggressors is allowed in self defense. But those who kill inoccent people are Not following the teachings of Islam.

But the whole question of faith is, if you believe in something and hold it to be the truth, then it will not hurt to study other beliefs, if not for the purpose of changing religions, it can surely solidify your belief and give you peace in your heart that what you believe in is the truth.
