Nah Greyhounds are fine in small places aswell, my greyhound is fit but also very lazy at times. They pretty much can follow how the owner is, but at times they do need some free time to run.

Kapit - Greyhounds have a different build. Their chests are deeper, they have narrower heads and the way their hind quarters are built is squarer. Whippets are much smaller with a wide head and a much more curved hind quarter. Personality wise, Whippets are much more hyper and more active.
Well, I have a whippet in an apartment in Mexico City (warm) and the weather is ok for him. He walks every day for 20 minutes plus I take him to a fenced park 6 times a week for a good run off leash, playing fetch with two balls to keep him really busy, that's all he really needs, ends up eshausted. BUT you need to give attention and affection during the day, don't get one and leave him by himself all day, or he'll get lonely.

whippets are more agile than greys. they have terrier in their genes, and are more game. but on a racing straightaway, the grey is faster.
