OMG what i would give to own some of that memorabilia,a couple flags or medals, piece of a uniform, its too much of a business now like somebody stated, people who would truly relish and worship the items are priced out of reach they are in the hands of those just interested in monetary value..
collecting german stuff used to be cool but now its become a business like baseball has become a business, not a sport anymore, your limited to what you can buy, a person like me will never be able to have a knigths cross or a ss visor, not with these crazy prices!!!
A substantial quantity of Nazi treasures found their way to the USA after the war.. Most notably, awards and insignia belonging to Reichsmarschall Herman Goering. He did not part with most "willingly"!!!!
The only reason any of these "dealers" are so big is because they bought items in the 60s for next to nothing and have created a perceived sense of scarcity.
@martinsuper73 Answer this question honestly; If you had an original WW2 mint condition Q68 Double decal Waffen SS helmet, with original liner and chin strap.
2010 was a better year than 2009. I think that MAYBE a few dealers realize that the prices are crazy. On Saturday of 2010, they were so anxious because items were not selling that you could get things 50% off OR MORE. ABOUT TIME!
@theman1223 The funny thing about him is that he's a Jew dealing in nazi stuff and get rich of it. I'm almost starting to wonder if Hitler wasn't right anyway....
wow look at all those reproductions
