Absolutely breathtaking! The acapella requiem (4:20-7:09) is one of my fave parts in the Libera Me. I had heard about this recording but didn't know that there was video from it as well. Thank you sooooo much for posting this! ^_^

Amazing. What it must have been like to heard this live. Interesting the percussion being so behind, but that may be just the recording. Also fascinating to see the La Scala trombones in closeup with no F-attachments having to play in the extended 6th and 7th positions that one seldom sees these days. Nostalgia.

I wish the soprano I heard 2 weeks ago at the Kennedy Center had done her homework for this piece. She was a complete wreck, and didn't hold the "money note" in the Libera Mae for even two counts! NO ONE sings this like Miss Price!
