  • This guy's lip syncing is WAY out of time. But that still doesn't ruin a great song. Nothing can ruin this song.

  • @EVILgnarlygnome This song can be interpreted however you wish to interpret it. For some this song may strengthen their spirituallity, for others it may be a calming tone, or one of rememberance. Unless you can claim ownership of the song, which you can't, or ownership of the people that wish to interpret it, which you can't, you have no right to tell people how they can and can't interpret the song.

  • When i first started watching enterprise i thought this song was terribly cheesy and fast forwarded through it every time but i must admit it grew on me...now i listen to it everytime.

  • i think this is the best song ever, chris was right

  • We Are Marqua!!!

  • The song is great, I have listened it 100 times, but i don't like the video, but all in all the quality of song is the best i found on YouTube

  • its about being strong instead of god. big difference. Star Trek enterprise was about that: strength to explore.

  • Z0mg tere are teh Borges! P0wn them gtfo nubs.

  • oui

  • es la de star trek noo ??? :O ^^

  • angelmrpaul i was suprised too to find it was Russel Watson as he normally does Opera music but still its a great song

  • where's that? Java island?

  • 16 people dosent got faith

  • @TheBlazzard

They only have another taste of music then you - that's all. I also like this song and I'm not religious. What's your problem?

  • wow dj, it seems like you have an axe to grind against chrisitans. somewhere they have done some bad stuff on you. dude take it from me, and just let it go. pretty soon their doing to be gone and you want have to worry about them. a true chrisitnas does not point anything toward themselves but to christ. but most of these so called hypocrites christians. man they burn me up but i just let it go theu one ear and out the other.

  • I love that Song

  • Here's the theme song from star trek enterprise I was amazed to learn that the guy that sings it is actually a christian singer!

  • @angelmrpaul i too was suprised to find it was Russel Watson who sang it as he normally does Opera music..

  • How can you dislike this?

  • I like this song very much

  • one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS EVER i tattoed the lyrics : i've got faith to belive i can do anything

  • one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS EVER

i tattoed the lyrics : i've got faith to belive i can do anything

  • @puppiwu u give animal cracker for gud?

  • I love this song!

  • i agre slitly with djmikeblades i do not it is a religios song but nor is it a motovatonal song.

i beleve it is just a song made for you to interpret and i beleve it to inspire

  • This song made me feel better when I heard it. And I gotta agree with djmikeblades, this seems more of a motivational song, perhaps it could be translated to a religious worship in the eyes of some people but I really think it was made for people who need a pat on the back.

  • Song Of Inspiration Brings The Human Spirit up to the sky

  • fk you haters!!! I love this song!!!!!!

  • i believe the song is about believing in urself and having a heart strong enough to make it thru tough times. not religion wat so ever, plus they wouldnt use a religious song for star trek since religion put sience back like 100 years.

  • Something sounds rather 80's power balladish to this song.

  • I fell in love with song when I heard it on start trek enterprise

  • @MrRaisinToast who didn't? lol ... those credits that put to it, showing how flight evolved from the Wright brothers to advanced space travel ... was moving! Makes me believe ... :) lol

  • @MrRaisinToast I think we all did :)

  • This is the theme to Star Trek Enterprise

  • @nelval25 no shit i could not realize that on my own

  • @nelval25 And also to Patch Adams (:

  • 所々歌詞と画があっていて、広大な自然が曲のスケールを大きくしていますね。

    But anyways it's a wonderful song! :-)

  • Star Trek Enterprise Rules!! Star Trek made this song popular! Great Series!! Good Song.

  • yea

  • Could this song be sung at church?

  • yes it can

  • This song is cringeworthy, but at the same time inexplicable inspriring, and somehow perfect for Enterprise. I leave it believing in humanity. We can be so much more than we are.

  • Yeah I hear ya. Too bad we are a far end from that....

  • I cry at this song.

It was my mothers favorite. The song fits her exactly. We played it at her funeral. I cry everytime I hear it.

  • he is alot better the rod stewardt

  • his is the orginal version for the show ppl think its rod stewart that did it

  • @59211bart Rod Stewart originally perfomed this song for the soundtrack to the movie movie "patch adams" in 1998. Russel Watson did his version (known as where my heart will take me) in 2001 for Enterprise and released it on his album "encore" in 2002.

  • Gene Roddenberry Died in 1991 during Star Trek: The Next Generation's third season. Deep Space 9, Voyager and Enterprise, were all created after his death. Gene Roddenberry had nothing to do with the choise of song for the Enterprise title sequence.

  • This song makes my cry.

And then I feel ridiculous and embarassed.

    But it's so good.

  • i disagree with what you think of the song, but your comment brings lolage

  • I'm glad Gene Roddenberry picked this song for the Star Trek Enterprise theme ^_^

  • I thought Gene was dead by Enterprise?

  • He was. Gene Roddenberry was not alive for the creation of enterprise.

  • I think he died toward the end of TNG

  • Gene and Majel's ashes were launched in a rocket. That's been done before but unlike other space burials this rocket was aimed straight UP. Not just into a quickly decaying orbit. If it does not hit anything and it is not outpaced by a later -launched, faster craft, Gene and Majel will someday have the honor of being the first Human tissue to leave the solar system.

  • For everyone out there, honestly can you listen to yourselves?

Does it matter in what way the song was written? This song gives me the uplift I need when I'm down, it inspires me when I work and it calms when needed.

That's what it does. It's an inspirational song. Wether you decide to see God in there or some other divine force, or just believe in the power that words can give, it does not matter.

Im not religious! I have my own views of whats to come.

  • Jesus, grow up, Bible basher.

  • Burning generally produces light, so how can you "burn" in "darkness." Why dont you check a physics book before you attempt to bash others for their beliefs. Religion is wonderful however, you cant ignore scietific reality. Oh and do you really think they would let you stay in heaven long when you're laughing at the damned and misguided. I doubt it.

  • star trek LOL

  • I love this song♥

  • You seriously thing this song has anything to do with religion? Methinks youve been at the Communion wine for a tad too long! This is about a persons determination through bad times and self-belief that his time is coming. How you can get something about someone who for as far as im concerned is a giant myth, is really beyond me. Russell turned out a great version of this song. And it wasn't for pathetic religion, he did this because its a great song. Nice one RW =)

  • -7, This song is loving

  • will you peole f*** off this song has nothing to do with jesus. its got more todo with flipping allah or the buddah. and to prove it the song was written by a athiest so f*** off

  • just because a song has the word FAITH in it, does NOT mean its about Jesus, God, Buddah or Mickey Mouse...im DAM SICK OF YOU RELIGEOUS NUTS THINKING EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU AND YOUR CRAPPY IDEALS. listen to the lyrics.."i have faith of the heart" its a motivational song...not a worship track...

  • @djmikeblades

    LOL!!! Nice...

  • @djmikeblades get the chip off your shoulder.

  • @djmikeblades

Chill out. if people want to apply this to a faith then who is DJmikeblades to say they can't?

so go to some DJing and chill out

  • @djmikeblades thanks, your ridiculous, hostile opinion has been noted,.... it can be whatever someone wants it to be, it is up to the individual really, you make it whatever you want, and everyone else can do the same....fair enough?...criminy, such hostility about a song, tsk tsk tsk , settle down

  • the original singer is Russel l Watson?? or who? Please & thanks

  • Jesus has nothing to do with this song. Stop following false prophets!

  • this song is on star trek enterprise

  • I'm going to have to agree with hellboundmatt this song is more about having faith in yourself and following your dreams

  • our wedding dance! sooo amazing!

  • great song *****

  • this song is the balls!!!!!!

anyone who hates it is a wanker who knows nothing about music

    DONE!

  • added to faves, i would just like to add my two cents, and point out that the song is called faith of the HEART, not faith of the bejesus.

so much intorelerence for people beliefs anyway, i mean who realy gives a fuck, ive got my own beliefs and i believe that this song is brilliant.

  • I love this song!

  • its called the right to free speech you asshole

  • this song is amazing, when i get a husband, me and him are dancing to this at our wedding!

  • Jesus has nothing to do with this song. Stop following false prophets!

  • It's a song about Confidence.. Has nothing to do with Jesus or faith in any god. It's about faith in yourself... the MOST important kind of faith.

BTW: The song was used in the theme song of a series that was created by an atheist

  • My fiance' and I both love watching Enterprise, and this version of the song (The Enterprise version) is going to be the first song we dance to at our wedding :-) It's a wonderful song and means a lot to us!

  • @inglesantonio what a cool video man!!! you rock brother!!!

  • I agree that it's a really good song. But don't ya'll know that it's written by Diane Warren and only performed by Russell? :)

No doubt that Russell has done a good job too by singing it so nicely. :)

  • OMG, I love enterprise and I like the Enterprise version of the song... it sounds a bit better :D

  • This looks like the philippines... interesting... reminds me of when i live there for 2 years. :-D

  • Yes, this video is made in the Philippines and the man who holds guitar here is one of the Filipino folk songs singer

  • what's his name. I like trying to find enjoyable filipino bands like asin, eraserheads, rivermaya, hale and the such.

  • this song is worth listening to all the time

  • Top top song

  • we sang this at the end of our leavers assembly after our grease dance. its all about believing in ourselves

  • I'm supposed to be working right now. lol

  • don't eatch just listen as I do

  • you see this song has a lot of meaning to me, i am almost finished my school year, during which i have had to give up a lot of things for the sake of education.
