Thanks for posting this, it's great to see it again. I'd buy this in a flash if it was available, but I'd go for the non-dubbed version. I'd rather read subtitles and hear it in the original Italian tones.
Thanks for posting this. I had the Mr. Rossi VHS tapes when I was a child, but I watched them so much that they wore out. I absolutely loved them. I didn't know that there were two different English dubs of this, because the one I had was different. It's my first time seeing this one.
It's a shame that the English versions only exist on old VHS. I would purchase the DVDs immediately if they were ever released.
@FARFALLONEBICCHIERE Bozzetto worked with some great people back then. Both Nichetti and Manuli made a film years later of some interest to mention called "Volere Volare".
Sorry, I couldn't see a way to post a comment. Anyway, Mr. Rossi is available on PAL, if anyone has a way to play or convert that. As well all know, by the director of Allegro non Troppo, available on DVD. Netflix doesn't have Mr. Rossi, but a search turned up Fantastic Mr. Fox, and now I'm sure Wes Anderson must have studied Bozzetto in his youth, too.
Thank you SOOOO much for posting these! I have it on VHS but it's falling apart from being like over 20 years old. I tried finding a new tape or DVD of it and all I could find was the original Italian version. THANKS A MILLION!
I didn't realize there were two dubs of Mr. Rossi Looks for Happiness. Do you happen to know what the company was that dubbed this version? I have the Family Home Entertainment (f.h.e.) version. Thanks for uploading this gem, though!
@masael255 I remember the FHE version of "Mr. Rossi's Vacation" myself. I kinda had the impression that one was dubbed up in Canada since one of the voice actors sounded rather similar to me for something else they may've done.
great music is this show the intro is amazing

I remember loving this as a kid now at 39 years of age I've realised how depressing it actually was.
