  • Fightingdreamerspro have a few videos on some do's and donts, also some tips. Mostly skits and what not, but they are good. :)

  • @Aoiookami516 oops didn't realize this was in 2007, my bad.

  • its so much more fun not to know :3 (i remember my first con when i was like 8...) ahh... "OH MY GOD THAT GUYS IN A DRESS!" "yeah thats fine" "BUT HE DIDN'T EVEN SHAVE!" this is a real experience that is apparently common XDD

  • THE GREATEST CON ADVICE OF ALL TIME:

    have fun lol.

  • Hi, I don't know if your convention has already past, you mentioned it was upcoming October so I'm assuming it's already came or you are expecting it. I have no advice for your Edward costume, but I can relate with your questions alot because I'm having my first con next Janurary! I'm going to be Misa from Death note because her costumes are pretty much any gothic attire you can find. It's not a very good cosplay, but it'll be my first. I hope we both have fun on our convention journeys~<3

  • Dang It I am to late:(

so my advice is useless now

  • good luck! hope you have fun :)

  • im going to my first cosplay in april toO! im going as sasuke from naruto, umm well you can buy anime stuff there

  • Some advice for a fellow cosplayer:

    - Bring a sewing kit or glue just incase something goes wrong with your costume

    - Bring lots of drinks, wearing a costume almost all day can get very exhusting

    - understand yaoi and yuri just in case you don't now what those are XD

    - and since you will be cosplaying once you are in costume people WILL want your picture

Remember to have fun and enjoy yourself ^^

  • You're the first person who's mentioned yaoi and yuri. I'm so glad I'm aware of what they are. Thanks for input!

  • Anyway, some Con advise: Expect long lines to get in.

Also, expect high prices for food or drinks inside the Con. You may want to bring your own water and pack a lunch. Some things I noticed about the Cosplayers were that if your costume is good enough, people will want to take their pic with you; a lot of people.

Other than that, enjoy yourself and have fun! :)

  • Well, I went to Comic-Con Saturday and saw a bunch of Cosplayers. Bleach, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, and even the guys and girls from Gotham Public Works (gotham public works . com) were there. I wish I hadn't forgotten my camera! :( My friend, who's a big Bleach fan, would have made a great Uryuu, but he stubbornly refused to dress the part. =/
