I agree with the others ~ it's a beautiful shawl and looks very easy. My question is, should the beginning chain row end in an even or odd number so that there isn't a stitch left over once row 1 has been crocheted?

this is an awesoem pattern I have been looking for something that would crochet up quick cause I am freezing at work. I have a small desk heater but share an office with a guy who thinks it's prefectly fine in there. MEN!!!
