  • WORTHLESS ? I think not teacher. I sat for 15 years before having a solid "enlightenment" and I went through many things before that point, none of which were worthless. Even not practicing at all for a while is not completely worthless as it shows one the value of pratice. Having said that, Shore is pretty much dead on with his insight and words and I would be happy to study under him.

  • I love this man.

Perfect example of an integrated consciousness of Eastern wisdom and Western 'outspokenness'

    Beautiful

  • Beautiful.

  • putting down rationaliztions

I just see the essence of awareness

    that is all.

  • Either I don't agree or I don't understand what he is saying.

All states of mind that come and go during zazen is also part of zazen. While keeping the exact posture of zazen, everything and whatever occurs will be zazen all the time.

States of mind are also part of reality, and they come and go naturally.

  • I've attended several Jeff Shore retreats. His lectures are amazing. He really encourages students to deepen their practice during Zazen. It's much easier to refine one's practice when you have an excellent teacher like Jeff Shore. These videos are excellent btw, and I thank the author for posting them.

  • true

Unbedingt ihm im zweiten Video "all into one" zuhören.

  • very rare Teacher amazingly clear
