It's messed up to kill animals for nothing or money. Hunting for food is different though because it's natural to eat meat and we need them to stay healthy. Hunting animals for food is better than what large meat suppliers do because those companies don't treat the animals well.

Grevy's zebra are the only zebras which are endangered, I think the pic you have is likely of plains zebra which aren't endangered. Grevy's look noticably ass/mule like.

I live in Indonesia, home of the orangutans. I see them in zoos quite a bit, and they are some of the most gentle and adorable creatures, when they're not in territorial battles. They're huge, bigger than many think. To the side of their enclosure is a massive mural depicting deforestation, and the murder or vivisection of orangutans. It's gruesome, even depicting a baby being cut open for vivisection, but very moving, just like this video.

I live in Indonesia, home of the orangutans. I see them in zoos quite a bit, and they are some of the most gentle and adorable creatures, when they're not in territorial battles. They're huge, bigger than many think. To the side of their enclosure is a massive mural depicting deforestation, and the murder or vivisection of orangutans. It's gruesome, even depicting a baby being cut open for vivisection, but very moving, just like this video.

The fetus cannot feel pain, have emotions or possess any type of consciousness until very late in the pregnancy. Born animals, human or otherwise, except for the lowest types like starfish, have emotions, sentience, memory and can feel pain. Abortion is not wrong. Hurting animals is. The reasons are clear. Why is this distinction so hard to understand (not even asking to accept, just to comprehend)?

If you really want to help, stop creating demand for animal parts (for food, clothing, decoration, ingredients to a product, etc.). Become vegan - less need for deforestation (i.e., destroying homes of other animals) to feed all the animals that man (over)consume, less pollution created. Vastly reduce your overall consumption of materialistic goods, gasoline, and electricity. Can you do that?...

We need animals, they are a vital resorce in our environment. As soon as there gone theres no pressing the rewind button. The saddest part is that no one is doing a thing. You really are stupid! No two of your sentences make sense. Every animal on the planet plays an important role in life. Just because you don't care about one animal doesn't make it right to just get rid of it. Not every animal eats the same type of vegetation that Gorillas eat, If thy aren't around to eat it then it will grow uncontrollably and overtake many other species of plants. They would block out the sun for some plants and they would die off, knocking out yet another species and etc.

If mountain gorillas die off, an animal with only a few hundred members to its species. Nothing will change and youl still get to see them in a zoo.
