The plural of octopus--contrary to popular belief--isn't octopi. The "-us" to "-i" suffix is only valid with Latin words. Octopus is from Greek, so it's either the Greek plural, octopodes, or simply octopuses in English.

They didn't call the camry hybrid the pruis camry, or the highlander hybrid the pruis highlander. Basically, they are trying to say all of their new hybrids will be part of the prius family, so what do you call it when there's a couple of different prius in the lot? It's a soft sell.

And another thing, this ad is to ask you what is the plural for 'Prius', Vote at the website ;). Octopus and Platypus are of Greek origin, not Latin. They are not 2nd declension words, so -us should not become -i.
