  • you SUCK at explaning

  • Well, I'll give you kudos for attempting the method. But you CANNOT do corners first for Petrus. Instead of thinking piece-by-piece, you need to think in blocks, which is why it's called a block building method. Without block building, Petrus has no speed and is just another layer-by-layer method, save for the bad edges step.

  • @fallofshadows That is actually a very informative comment. I hadn't realized it before but what you said makes a lot of sense. I'm going to have to explore that some...

  • @pennywisdom2099 I'm glad that comment got through, my computer was being stupid when I tried to post it lol.

But yeah... The entire point of Petrus is to use block building and intuitive thinking. Placing pieces one at a time is inefficient, and completely defeats the purpose of the method. I recommend some of the tutorials I have posted, as well as the ones Erik Johnson has made. Him and I are some of the world's fastest Petrus users; he's actually the fastest.

  • At 1:12 you can just do FRF'. Great video!

  • Fridrich is way easier...

but is this method faster or wat?

  • depends you practice more on petrus method of course petrus is faster

  • This method is faster but requires more a intuitive thinking process. You have to be creative. If you like to have a consistent and robotic/process-like method I would recommend Fridrich.

  • not faster, but less moves

  • is that a diy and if it is what type

  • nice camera, what'd you film this with, quality's awesome!

  • Thanks man, it's a Sanyo Xacti HD700

  • nice cube
