@Hodgy just put compatibility mode on dude, it's easy, that's how i'm able to play Halo: Combat Evolved XP and Halo 2 Vista on my laptop, and they run much more smoothly and faster and the quality is sooo much better than on Vista or XP

@AquaCrescent oh yeah Kurt's character strangely survives after 20 years, and all of a sudden he reappaears at the end with a full blown chopper and yet Kieth's character dies and Kurt's character's voice doesn't even change a damn from '82, what did the guy freeze himself like the Thing, yah right I had high xpectations from this game it it just let me down, this is in doubt one of the worst games in the history of mankind

@predalien902100 I was talking about the areas you visit, like the UFO, the Norwegian base, the rec room, etc. as well as MacReady's tape. No need to get all huffy and rude. And anyways, since the reason these guys went into those bases is because they lost contact with the bases (or something, don't remember) and everything's like it was at the end of the movie (i.e., not totally buried in snow) , it's safe to assume this game took place right after the '82 movie instead of 20 years later.

How do you know that for sure? Look at Child's, right after the blood test scene you see him in a dark blue coat, then at the very end he's wearing a tan coat. According to MacReady, the thing rips through your clothes when it takes you over. So if anyone's a thing, it's Childs.

If you are talking about Bennings (that bald guy), the Thing grabbed him once Windows (the other guy) left out the room. When Windows came back the Thing had the tentacles around Bennings but then Windows went to run and tell the others about what happened. By the time they got to the room though the Thing was already immitating Bennings and ran out into the snow...they burned it. That was outside. Who is the guy on the lab table all split open? Is he from the movie?
