  • you dont need any special permission to operate a seaplane on a public lake as long as its outside the city limits and as long as there is no seaplane restrictions and the neighbours just have to deal with it, if you what to register your lake as a seaplane base you will need to get with the community to make sure no one has any problems with that, I could of but decided it was a hassel and not needed. most people think its great. Are you in Florida

    Know anywhere where to get a sort of hinge for the float rigging?

  • He also put his luscombe together. He used to be a aircraft mechanic for the air force.

    Anyway I don't really know what its called but i'll see if can get a pictureof it.

    its located where the rod connects the plane fuselage to the floats in the rear section
