The JD with 4 wheel steer is over twice as expensive and the turn radius still doesn't match the Craftsman....come on people if you don't know what you're talking about, do a little research before you open your mouth and maybe you might sound like you do.
I hae a 97 GT V twin Craftsman. Wouldn't trade it for 3 deeres. When I went to buy the tractor the guy showed me a JD and acted like he was doing me a favor by selling it to me. No thanks!
To be fair the video compared the craftsman with a big box deere not a dealer deere, BIG difference. The newer craftsmans have weaker frames and other faults so I stick with the older ones.
Nothing else runs like a Deere,John Deere is the best! The Craftsman will lose it's value over time and the John Deere gains in value. No carburators to mess with anymore on newer John Deeres, now electronic fuel injection.Cheap is not always better and this is true with riding lawn mowers.
That craftsman looks like a nice mower, but compare it to a four wheel steer john Deere too. I'm curious now, even though you can't buy the X series @ Lowes or home depot.

I have owned many different mowers. Craftsman has just been the best. Simple to work on yet dependable.
