No EVERYBODY she did not have a surgery. If she was to have one it would be to remove the troublsome nodules on her volcal cords which cause her voice such distress. But she really can't get rid of them becuse without them she can't reach her "known for" high notes. If she had a "surgery" she wouldn't have jumped right back into the studio less than 8 months than her last cd, and she performed throughout last year so when would have she had time for a surgery. She'd have to rest after duh Lol :)

I love Mariah she is fantastic!!! Especially as she bares her soul to sing these ballads. However, give credit to each singer including the incredible Whitney Houston - who also sings from the depth of her soul ..Each one indvidualize and gives us so much delight hearing them sing not just from their hearts but also from their souls.I applalud them!!
