i hit big mallard about 4 days ago and it was ridiculous, we were on a 18 foot boat and hit it right at the tongue and it was about a 9 foot hole and we had a bailess boat, it was so gnarly.
Chittum i think how you spell it was also pretty gnarly, vinegar was all washed out though.

Big Mallard is on the Main Salmon....it is also an easy run. No big deal.

FYI...Big Mallard is NOT on the Middle Fork; it's on the Main Salmon, about 20 or 30 miles below where the Middle Fork enters theh Main.

Big Mallard is no big deal, IMO but Bailey at 9-10K cfs will make you poop yer' shorts.
