I'm only 17. In 4th grade my grandpa died, 8th grade my friend was killed in a 4 wheeler accident, my junior year I lost my BEST friend. He was killed because people don't know how to drive. I was just with him that morning and we were having so much fun. That phone call that night literally killed me insde, then about 3 months later my other friend was shot in Detroit. This song is beautiful and I dedicate to all my friends. love you guys, miss you immensly! <3

i lost my mom on Oct. 20th 2010. she fought for two years with cancer. it started out as gol bladder turned into boul duct, then spread to her pancrese, then to her spline, lungs, liver, spine, and brain. and then a week and half before she died her digestive system shut down. she was only 54. jan 31, 2011 she would have turned 55...

RIP Papa!! I will always miss you!! I am 11 and my Grandfather passed away 4/2/2010!! He had been in the hospital for 2 - 3 months!! He only had one leg and then he said they could take the other leg off because he wanted to live to see my Sisters first baby be born next month!! One week to the day after they took his other leg off he passed away!! My Mom called me at 4:00 am and told me that he had passed away. His kidneys had been shutting down, he had sores all over his body.

Sometimes it feels like God gives me something just to take it away. I hate those days where it feels like I've lost everything. God's the only One I can hold on to, He's the only One that won't fail, or give up on me. I just have to hit the ground and beg God for the strength to push on and make it through. God is good though, and He's been there for me on the mountain tops, and in the valleys. I trust that He'll take care of me, and He'll do the same for all of you. God bless.

In such way, the song is very beautiful. But what Matthew West might have written and sung without knowing at that time, about the deceased in Christ being in heaven now, which is wrong. Before the whole world, they will be ressurected when Jesus returns. And THEN, will He take us to the Father in heaven.

i lost my mom on Oct. 20th 2010. she fought for two years with cancer. it started out as gol bladder turned into boul duct, then spread to her pancrese, then to her spline, lungs, liver, spine, and brain. and then a week and half before she died her digestive system shut down. she was only 54. jan 31, 2011 she would have turned 55...

You will be renuinited with all of them someday. I lost my younger brother on March 14, 2010. Our family has not been the same since. It is very difficult and sometimes we ask why? RIP Papa!! I will always miss you!! I am 11 and my Grandfather passed away 4/2/2010!! He had been in the hospital for 2 - 3 months!! He only had one leg and then he said they could take the other leg off because he wanted to live to see my Sisters first baby be born next month!! One week to the day after they took his other leg off he passed away!! My Mom called me at 4:00 am and told me that he had passed away. His kidneys had been shutting down, he had sores all over his body.
