I always get really intrigued when I hear about playstation one titles I've never heard of. Playstation/N64 had some good stuff, I won't say games are bad these days but there was a lot of passion back in the day.
@TheRealVordox I know that. But what I'm trying to say is that Kurushi Final is a different game (it is the sequel to the first Intelligent Qube/Kurushi). I heard that song "Healing Light" as the ending theme of Kurushi Final. Here in the Philippines, the first game is known as Intelligent Qube while the sequel is known as Kurushi Final
Hi supradarky, I just wondered...I can't see any Vagrant Story tracks in your best vgm list (lol, I'm up to 520)...I'm just wondering, did you ever play Vagrant Story?
Love the soundtrack of this game. To be completely honest, I didn't love the game itself, but then again, some puzzle games to me can get real boring real fast.
facinating that the notion that the harder you look, the more music you will be able to find. like in this nearly underground game that ive never heard of. kudos to you good sir, insta-favorite (:
@Bonzi77 It's really cool you got to share your hobby with your dad like that. My dad's never really thought video games were worth wasting time with.
This song playing on the background while looking outside... There's no one outside, it's still dark and there's mountains of white snow on the ground. Awesome morning is awesome.
A fun puzzle game with a great quality soundtrack. You wouldn't think music like this would come out of this type of game. This particular track is really nice, aptly named.
@SupraDarky I have to disagree with you there Darky! Although this track is fantastic, I'm not surprised to find it in a puzzle game. IMO most puzzlers have great music, like Hexic!
seems that 1 person has no soul
This music is just beautiful.

some parts of this REALLY remind me of the theme music for the TV show Band of Brothers. Weird.

@Bonzi77 Your dad sounds like a great guy, perhaps I ought to take his life...... you do not deserve such a great father.

@Bonzi77 Can I say this though? Every time I hear this song the ending makes me tear up bit. Does that make me a bitch?

I remember always playing a demo of this game on one of the PlayStation Sample Discs, always wishing to obtain the full version of the game.
The wish was sadly never granted.

@RickyZ101 Ditto. I played that demo over and over again but never had the cash to get it.... might need to check ebay for a retro gift for xmas

@pengselim
haha exactly the same here! I played the 2nd and 4th stage over and over again, until I got a perfect, just for the kicks.
Now that I'm older, I decided to invest and get a copy of it. About 80$, but it was worth it!
Just think of it as an investment. You sell it a couple of months later and get you money back. (or a little more!)
pelletier1986 1 year ago
@pelletier1986 Haha. Exactly. I think this game and Einhander were among my favorite "demos" back in the good old PS1 days!
