It has the 47RH out of a 94-95 two wheel drive dodge ram cummins and the tail housing is off of a first gen dodge non lockup two wheel drive so the speedo cable works
@badbob406 any car throws out unburnt fuel, they are called hydro carbons, diesel particles are just heavier and when not fully burnt they are emitted as black smoke or "coal" . look up mikes diesel performance in southern michigan/ northern ohio. he builds stuff that burns extremely clean relative to all the stuff you see on the web. my friends are all diesel freaks (hillbillys), i an not a big diesel in drag car guy but ingenuity and time put into any automobile make me respect it.

Is that even legal, a diesel in a camaro? Sorry but I'm not a fan, you can't even see the car though all the black smoke. I disapprove. Keep the diesels in a truck. You diesel fans are getting as bad as rice burners.

Almost every redneck with a diesel talks about how much black smoke they can blow. Who cares? I'm not impressed by it. I like the thunder of a gasoline engine. Nothing compares. I'm not against diesels, just don't care for it in a drag car. Especially a 69 Camaro.

@LoCo8NiKkA Nothing in my comment has anything to do with being a tree hugger. I did stereo type Ricers (people who think hitting the rev limiter is awsome and makes you faster) and Rednecks ( My truck blows more black smoke than yours). I also didn't mean to slam all rice burners, I do think some of them are cool. And if you want to put a diesel in your Chevelle, go ahead it won't make me mad.

@drjesus616 yeah, you're right...it was weird, right when it started to spin its tires the truck started moving in the background which threw me off, thought it was the truck making the diesel engine noise.
