hey im from canada also and i was wondering whether you had any problems with the zune in canada. More specifically, can you get the apps off the marketplace and does the artist background and bio show up? thanks

@TrueBluProductions You'll need an American account to get apps, and you'll need to do that from an American IP address. That's the only tricky part. Other than that, artist backgrounds, bios, and pictures all show up on the device. The only thing that doesn't work is the view in the desktop software that uses the artist picture as the background.

I don't understand the filming... the Rebel XS doesn't shoot video at all, so why was it filmed with one? Haha!

It says in the title it's a Canadian Zune D: . But im Canadian ans there ain't no Zune HD i nstores for the moment and your video is from 10 months ago. So, do you know if there'll be Zune HD in canada soon ?. Cuz im really thinking about buying one.

@BrokkenArt They don't sell Zunes in Canada at all because they haven't been able to get the marketplace around CRTC restrictions, or something like that. I got mine from the U.S. but it's registered to a canadian Zune account, so the marketplace doesn't show up on the device. That's why I wrote Canadian Zune HD in the title.

i've heard that if you change your computer settings to us + you get a US windows live ID you can get the marketplace btw.

@Nutsnack333500 part of it is because the lights focus on the zune hd and surrounding background is dark, that bring it up a bit

Thanks. I think it's mostly the Zune's OLED screen that's making it look so good here, but it also could be the fact that I recorded it with a Canon Rebel XS

The Rebel XS can't shoot video at all... The T1i and higher models shoot HD.

if you want, you can turn that feature off in settings, display, tilt.

BTW i like that feature makes it more "alive" in a sense.
