  • well do you see a road any where because I don't it's not hard core I know but the defender had no problems with it but the tata did in place's just listing to the engine noise will tell you that defender no throttle needed tata a lot needed but even tho I don't like the tata it's not the worst 4x4 in the world ether.

  • Where is off rod in this movie

  • wooo defender looks so ugly compared to safari

  • the Tata is the UGLYest 4x4 I have ever seen!!!! really!

  • @nate12345671

Haha, the land rover is now owned by TATA!

  • @wiigamer136 still sooo ugly!!!

  • @nate12345671

I never said that it isn't.

  • Both of these are manufactured by TATA now as well as jaguar

  • yes but it looks awful compared to the 110 the Tata is great as its cheap but in strength looks & capabilities I think the 110 has the edge

  • Staroffuture25, speak for yourself.

I live in Italy and have a 3.0 Safari, it costs 60% of a 110 Defender and will do anything a 110 Defender will do; the only real difference being the Safari is 18000 Euro 140 hp and has no central differential, the 110 Defender costs 32000 Euro 122 hp and has a central differential.

Moreover, the Safari is waaay more comfortable and a much better family vehicle.

Its closest competitor is possibly the Nissan Terrano.

  • @lambdavi I live in Italy too, have friends with a tata safari, and I own a 110. Sorry, but they can't do what I do. I guess you don't have an idea what the word off road means.

  • @patarloc So you must belong to a 4x4 Club. Where do you live and which events do you participate in? How many times have you replaced your half-shafts? When is the last time you drove 800 Km to an event at 120Km/h cruising speed all along? Get real...

  • I participated to Landmagia twice, local club events, I go greenlaning, offroad weekends in Croatia, trips to north africa. My car cruises at 110km/h (td5, 144Hp test bench and 135km/h top speed), never replaced a half shaft (look at a Salisbury axle of a 110, it's twice the size of your toy diff), and most of all I get in places a Safari can't even think of. I repaired tata safaris, I know the quality of the bearings, seals, shafts, etc... so please come down from your cloud.

  • @lambdavi

    Both are Indian now.

  • @lambdavi The Safari is also horrible to look at, VERY badly made, rust prone, underpowered (less than 140hp) and is worth nothing after 3 years of ownership, the Landrover is MUCH better off road, better to look at and more reliable and will still be in good shape in 15 years time!

  • @discocreator76

Lol, some 10 tonne buses have only 250 hp. What's your point?

  • Which country is this?? i am guessing its Europe....but does Safari meet European standards?.....................by the way ,defender is always a defender, its great...........the thing about safari is it not expensive; maybe costs 1/8 the cost of a Land Rover and does 85% of the jobs, but not heavy off-roading.

  • its an ok truck, yes all tata cars pass the european crash tests. the tata is also alot more capable then we actually think it is. but true its no defender.
