@PSHOOTERMAX I am using a very qualified camera which has 18 optic zoom.It has a very high quality leica lens on it.And an other high quality closeup lens in front of it.I am recording this video in HD.Then i edit it on a video editing program on my pc.Upload it on youtube.And you watch it.And ask "why use high tech words like -scanning-..." :)

The back section of the two large eyes contain high resolution stereoscopic retina pair that move relative to the focal range of the front fixed lenses. Scanning is not too bad of a word. You know when this spider locks visually with your own eyes. Spider will pivot its body when internal retinas are at the end of their range of motion.

@PlaidmanUTube That Raynox lens is a keeper also. I use the same lens for my spider videos, and believe me, that Raynox DCR 250 macro conversion lens is sweet when it comes to getting macros on jumping spiders, and whatever other spiders and insects you can get a shot on.

@trollcrusher242 Thank you very much :).I use a panasonic fz35 with a raynox dcr-250 in front of it.This panasonic is great with raynox closeup lens.I have a canon 60D with a 100mm macro lens but i still have my videos with my fz35 ,it is a grat combination for these kind of macro recordings :)

@trollcrusher242 The Raynox DCR 250 really works good with Hi-Def Camcorders. If you have seen that video in the sidebar titled "phidippus putnami jumping spider being cute", that guy uses the same thing except he is using a Panasonic HDC HS 700 camcorder. Metkan and Torn80cj have some pretty awesome jumping spider videos.
