Shit! I can't understand how can someone give thumbs up for such idiotic comments and flag for a spam such a beautiful and meaningful comment like soccrplaya10. You people are fucked up
This guy has some serious balls. Unfortunately, one day this guy will be killed in an instant when thousands of years of wild instinct take over and go for his throat.
@Bemis29 "Instinct" is a word for an action people label that they either choose to not try and understand or simply are willingly ignorant of. Your conflict comes in with believing that humans are the only animal with the ability to think and access emotion. George Adamson lived with lions he took from zoos at a very young age and taught to be wild then released. He kept some contact but they were free-- wild lions. He did this for over 30 years and ended up being murdered by a human.
If anyone is ignorant it is your sorry ass for thinking there is no difference between instinctual behavior and volitional thought based behavior. Let me enlighten you since you definitely talk out of your ass. Instinctual behavior is not " learned " it is behavior that is genetically induced through years of evolution. I DID NOT say that animals don't have emotions or don't have the ability to problem solve...which involves the cortex and limbic systems. Learn how to read!!
@Bemis29 What I am saying is that there is no such thing as "genetically induced behavior" you take in information as you grow. Everything is a product of their environment... You aren't born with a specific amount of information already known to you... you have no knowledge of any sort when you are first born. You make assumptions under guess and check and continue down positive routes. Every action is a learned action... drawing from experience. Humans are not unique to this.
@Leidachinaman You need to read more. At the moment of birth a pipefish immediately begins to hunt, a new born spider completely isolated from other spiders builds the same type of web as its adult parents, birds build nests even though they were never taught, new born chickens immediately separated from their mother within a couple of days immediately recognize the silhouette of a hawk and run for cover, the entire animal kingdom has maternal instincts with no prior teaching. This is all inborn
@Bemis29 Responces to stimuli... namely fear or hunger for all those situations except the spider. I don't know enough about spiders to effectively answer that statement but I would think that would just be a responce to bodily build-up. On the same token, explain why lions cubs are scared of other animals until seeing the older lions hunt? Once they see the first kill studdenly they become less and less afraid of other animals.
@Leidachinaman I am not disputing learned behaviors as you have described with cubs. The cubs are born with a fear instinct which is encoded in their DNA and they learn to not fear certain prey by learning from their parents. What you need to explain is how a simple stimuli invokes a complex “unlearned” behavior if under your premise only learned behaviors exist.
@Bemis29 Your comment about knowing something about spiders is irrelevant. Explain how a spider completely isolated from other spiders since birth spins an incredibly complex web. Explain how female cat knows exactly where to sever the umbilical cord of her offspring. Explain why 3 day old chicks are terrified of only a hawk silhouette and not a dog or cat.
@Bemis29 Explain how a salamander raised away from water until long after its siblings begin swimming successfully swims every bit as well as they the very first time it is placed in the water…yet has not practiced or learned. Why do the majority of human babies cry immediately upon birth…which is not a learned behavior.
@Leidachinaman The entire animal kingdom is born with innate or instinctual behaviors that over millions of years have evolved through the process of natural selection to genetically ensure its survivability. Ultimately it is the combination of instinctual and learned behavior that produces the highest survivability and reproductive success. End of discussion.
This is truly AMAZING! much respect for Kevin, his effort and energy displays something very powerful, the POWER OF LOVE. the power of mankind shows through him, what other species is capable of this? most humans do not understand something like this because they dont have love for themselves. why do so many people want to kill and destroy everything that is beautiful?mostly because of fear for the unknown, we hold the answer and the key within ourselves, how deep are you willing to dig?

@MyMindIsEverything if there were no animals everything would die so there would be no worries about it being a sad place :) Thats why God created animals first....
30 seconds seemes like something that would be in my nightmares lol I hate fighting animals off me. I had to fight my friends wolf/husky dog off me before, by getting on my back curling in a ball and kicking him until he flew back and I got to my feet, then he jumped at my face but I grabbed him and pushed him away and then he just stopped and was basically like "...Food..." walks over to bowl lol But I love that dog, and hopefully soon he will be in my family cause they're getting rid of him
not talking bout white ppl but y do yall white ppl think yall jus friend with wild animals do yall not learn yall lesson from previous attack go look at this vid n yall kno wat i mean TOP 10 LION ATTACK ON PPL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL ITS FUNNY
@SonicsEnt I've seen it and all of them can be very clearly explained. You can't generalize the outcomes of a few stupid people... there are thousands of people around the world that work closely with their animals in a way similar to Kevin. You just never hear about them unless something goes wrong. As for the trainers in the video I think you are talking about... most of them had it coming.
if u felt scared or didnt trust an animal, that animal will attack u. if u trusted and truly loved an animal, that animal will be just like ur friend.
@Leidachinaman sorry to disappoint u but I just made a joke I dont even play WoW but I have played it for 4 years.. now to me wow sux and with pandaria rofl......
I think what's most interesting about Kevin is that it's more than just lions that he hangs around with. It's hyenas and leopards as well. Hell, he was even able to calm a wild hog.
I believe that we are all examples (today) of what experiences we have had in our lives. As long as these animals are not starved and treated well, they have no reason to turn. I think this man truly understands the connections between us (humans) and nature. Some might say he's crazy? I think crazy is doing a job you hate for 50 years. If your job is doing what you love, then you can never louse. We all die 1 day, I'd rather do it doing what I love! I respect him for that
@mustknowstuff They are not tame. True they live on a reservation but other than that they aren't any different from other wild lions. Humans don't play any part in their day to day lives, they hunt by themselves, breed by them selves and live out in the open. They've accepted Kevin Richardson as one of their own yes, but they don't regard other humans in the same manner.
@mustknowstuff Oh look! Another Youtuber who can't defend their argument and thus resorts to name calling. How unusual! Please. If they were tame they would not be wary of other humans, which they are.
I am so glad to see when these animals are so happy with human as well as he feels so happy when he is with animals,we are just small part or children of our planet, and we shall not forget what we are and where we came from.
yeah it is beautiful....but this guy is gon the same way the others before him went. with a terrible mauling. He has a relationship with them just like we have relationships with other people...the difference is that when us PEOPLE get upset and lash out, its usually with words. When a fucking lion gets pissed off about something it just mauls u. the lion wouldnt mean to kill him...but the lion cant think that advanced. it will kill him.
I THOUGHT I HAD BALLS!!! THEY'RE JUST PEANUTS COMPARED TO THIS GUY'S JEJE:) BEST OF LUCK FOR HIM HOPE HE NEVER GETS HURT. SOME PEOPLE JUST HAVE THIS EXTRAORDINARY GIFT AND SOME PEOPLE DON'T
@benbez7 He has no special talent other then realizing that animals have thought and access to emotions. Most people can't achieve what he has because they don't truely accept other animals as equals. They view themselves as naturally better and as such don't make friends as he has with these lions. Instead, they tame pets. There is a massive difference between being tolerated by an animal and being accepted by an animal. That line from him holds true in any case... including with other humans.
@Leidachinaman dont forget the fear.. i was walking the woods of KY many years ago when i noticed a wild dog / wolf? running toward me, i always carried a large 7" dagger on my hip (fuck, you never know right?) I immediately unsheathed my dagger and began running toward the animal (dagger underhand so when we met i could stab it over hand if need be) anyhow the animal pumped the brakes real quick lol, i continued to chase it for a bit then stopped and watched to make sure it wouldn't stock me.
@matthias2986 I gotta get one of those for Brooklyn lol, yikes though, but you did the right thing, he was obviously coming over for something more then a check out.
@Leidachinaman point is animals dont attack unless they think they can win or if they are in a desperate situation, they pick up on your fear and its game on, i am sure they can pick up other emotions also. honestly i have spent much time around wild animals and you can gain a level of trust / tolerance from just about any animal. I do not think this makes you immune to attack, i feel its best to be ready to defend yourself when in the wild.
@matthias2986 Reading body language isn't the same as "being able to sense fear". A lot of people like to pretend that humans are so different from other animals on this planet when in fact we are quite similar.
@Leidachinaman i very much agree with you. only i am saying animals seem to be very well adept to reading body language. Humans can do the same with each other and with animals. for instance i knew that wild dog had intentions of hurting me. humans have the ability to create things this is a unique ability and we abuse it. the world does not have to be any certain way but greed and lust for power has destroyed us.
this man is a special type of person.. they are rare..he is blessed with a gift.. i think hes a wonderfull human being with a whole lot of compassion..unlike the uneducated hillbilly redneck type i see on here shooting&hunting these animals for sport or the thrill or to conversate about with thr buddies over a beer as if thr special or tough cuz they went2africa&killed a lion with a guide in a protected area fkn pussies! anyway much love to kevin..god bless u..keep up the gd work.
@musvlehead The best part about poachers is they try to justify everything as population control... which isn't total bullshit in some specific cases.... but in many others it is... such as when they say it in defense of trophy hunting.
@DaRKFragpawner Instead of wanting to have a lion for a pet, you should focus your efforts on the grave extinction threat that they are facing. If you want, throw me a personal message and I'll link you some interesting facts. Also, keep up with Kevin on his website (my channel has a link to it) for updates on progress being made in either direction.
@kenken1985ful Heaven on earth, it would be pretty awesome not gonna lie. I'm hoping to get a much closer look and some more information when I volunteer at his park this coming summer.
@Leidachinaman yeah! heaven on earth is where kevin is now, animals and human get along..really you're gonna volunteer to that place?? wow good luck to you, be careful.. tell mr richardson he is doing an amazing job. we nee more like him in this hateful world. :))
What does god have to do with this video seriously. I don't see a miracle or the work of god in the video. The guy is playing with lions and other big cats, that's it end of story.
@Virus2020 What has that to do with if we would do the same thing as him ? If he gets attacked he will die also it's not like some kind of superhuman who can stand an attack from a lion. It's very dangerous work he does. Because it stays a predator and you never can predict what an animal is going to do. He won't even see it till it's tolate
its so amaizing

WOW, absolutely brilliant, this guy is from another planet!!, blessed with special talents though.
benbez7 3 months ago

@matthias2986 I gotta get one of those for Brooklyn lol, yikes though, but you did the right thing, he was obviously coming over for something more then a check out.
brooklynlulu 1 month ago
@Leidachinaman point is animals dont attack unless they think they can win or if they are in a desperate situation, they pick up on your fear and its game on, i am sure they can pick up other emotions also. honestly i have spent much time around wild animals and you can gain a level of trust / tolerance from just about any animal. I do not think this makes you immune to attack, i feel its best to be ready to defend yourself when in the wild.
matthias2986 1 month ago
@matthias2986 Reading body language isn't the same as "being able to sense fear". A lot of people like to pretend that humans are so different from other animals on this planet when in fact we are quite similar.
Leidachinaman 1 month ago
@Leidachinaman i very much agree with you. only i am saying animals seem to be very well adept to reading body language. Humans can do the same with each other and with animals. for instance i knew that wild dog had intentions of hurting me. humans have the ability to create things this is a unique ability and we abuse it. the world does not have to be any certain way but greed and lust for power has destroyed us.

fun fact: I am seeing a white person befriend wild animals.
fun fact: most of the people you hear about dying from animal attacks are white.
fun fact: I do like that he is going for predators with a pack mentality. Such animals are the most likely to befriend you.
What I'm wondering though is how his pants contain those enormous balls of steel.

this man is a special type of person.. they are rare..he is blessed with a gift.. i think hes a wonderfull human being with a whole lot of compassion..unlike the uneducated hillbilly redneck type i see on here shooting&hunting these animals for sport or the thrill or to conversate about with thr buddies over a beer as if thr special or tough cuz they went2africa&killed a lion with a guide in a protected area fkn pussies! anyway much love to kevin..god bless u..keep up the gd work.
musvlehead 3 months ago
@musvlehead The best part about poachers is they try to justify everything as population control... which isn't total bullshit in some specific cases.... but in many others it is... such as when they say it in defense of trophy hunting.

DaRKFragpawner 3 months ago
@DaRKFragpawner Instead of wanting to have a lion for a pet, you should focus your efforts on the grave extinction threat that they are facing. If you want, throw me a personal message and I'll link you some interesting facts. Also, keep up with Kevin on his website (my channel has a link to it) for updates on progress being made in either direction.

What does god have to do with this video seriously. I don't see a miracle or the work of god in the video. The guy is playing with lions and other big cats, that's it end of story.

how can he do that?? i wish i can communicate with big cats like him.. i love animals so much
Leowakakaz 4 months ago
Well this prooves it, lions are definitaley just oversized house cats lol.....
regardless of that, I would not recommend you do what this guy is doing......if they attack you even if its playing around, you'll probably be dead
Virus2020 4 months ago
@Virus2020 What has that to do with if we would do the same thing as him ? If he gets attacked he will die also it's not like some kind of superhuman who can stand an attack from a lion. It's very dangerous work he does. Because it stays a predator and you never can predict what an animal is going to do. He won't even see it till it's tolate
