I have a friend who is a pretty big fan of Xevious that might find this interesting, if he hasn't already played it. Thanks for posting this gameplay video! It was fun to watch. Maybe I'll give this game a shot, myself, some day.

This is a port of an arcade game, I've played the arcade one on Mame.

Yes you are absolutely right. Scrolling was often bad for MSX games) but apart from that it was an excellent system.

Scion, I remember playing this game before. It's was an entertaining game and, yes, I too was quite impressed by it's graphics considering its vintage. It always seems to remind me of Star Force and Xevious.

It was quite an impressive shooter actually. the later levels are rather difficult. I also liked the idea that you had to pick up your extra weapon in mid-air by shooting a transport plane. Novel at the time.

But I still do not understand what the meaning is of throwing bombs at the race track and soccer field. If you do that a Sphinx will appear and when flying straight over it, it will raise its head, but then what?
