You won't get into the movie by only watching parts of it.

Dumb analogy, but the movie is literally just like sushi. You have to eat/watch all of it to get a full understanding. After that, you'll either find the movie hilarious if you understand it's style of humour, or not. Otherwise, you're in no place to make judgement.

Generally the same thing for most art forms... Music, movies, paintings, food, you name it.
