Great setup zelix! Im gonna buy these speakers soon. Gonna use them on a Abrahamsen (Norwegian) integrated amp. That`s probably the best match for Klipsch. That or tube amp.

hey i pretty much have the same set up. to here these speakers in person is a diffrent story they crank clear as a bell nice set up almost like mine hey i was wondering what hz your running your towers at i dont see them moving to much it took me a while to set up rf82s and they hit nice dont know if its the filming very cool peace klipsch kick ass!!!!!!!!

Why is the center channel on the floor? Put it up where the pioneer is, and put the pioneer down lower. I have a klipsch set up myself. Klf 20's for mains, two tens, and sep. horn for mid and tweeter, a klipsch klf c-7( two 8" woofers and horn) and klipsch surround bookshelf with a Velodyne hgs18 sub. I'm using a krell s1200 preamp and Acurus amps. Trust me, put the center speaker up to match with your mains! Nice set up though.

a few things, first that looks hella comfortable..primary factor for my HT experience. Secondly, i agree w/stryker7x, yamaha isn't my cup of tea however, Marantz is outstanding - I own one with my RF5s. Oh yea, Pioneer Elite? we speak the same language. nice setup.

Talked to the importer of Klipsch to Norway, and they said Pioneers has the Receiver that match really well! I got my RF-82's yesterday!!! And have a SC-LX71 Pioneer receiver:D

Projectors are nice and big, but the bigger you got the more its distorted. + projectors colors are horrible compared to plasma's.

nice. well no my man you need to take a look at the JVC DILA lineup or the Sony VPL VW line or if you want to go nuts than look no further than at the SIM2 Projectors..... The JVC's and Sony's cost about 3 or 4 thousand dollars less than your Kuro. But enough said you need to visit and demo this projectors at specialty stores. You will be shocked trully I almost want to invite you to my theater to convert you hahaha anyway nice talking to ya.

You should hear them before you make up ypur mind. Looks like he's powering them with a Pioneer Receiver, and in my opinion thats not the best match for these speakers. Yamaha or Onkyo would be my number one choices. =)

They're really good speakers if you match them with the right amplifier. =)

It is because of the camera. I've been to Magnolia and Klipsh has better sound than Bose. You get a cleaner crisper sound.

the camera obviously doesnt have that good of a microphone, i dont think its that harsh in the video, also in real life everything is very crisp and not overly harsh

you know all your system needs is a projector.. have you taken a look at one? not the business type but the home theater. Go buy a nice home theater projector they are not cheap but they are getting cheaper Optoma and Vivitek came out with 1080p models for 1k take a look at them try them out see if you like the big screen experience if you feel it's not for you than return it no harm no foul ..if you like it than your welcomed and dont forget to post a vid of it.. cheers mate. btw nice speakers

Dude, I worked at Best Buy about 1.5 years ago... I sold this junk. I mean, these aren't the worst speakers in the world, much better than Bose. But, the Polk speakers that Best Buy sells are much better than the Klipsch speakers.

I'm just sick of everyone thinking Klipsch are so high end. Yes, they make some super high end... But, these are the lowest of the low they make. That's all I'm saying. Get over it. Accept the facts.

yes much better these klipch are so krisp and the highs are nailed perfectly.

Note these are RF 25's i got over 5 years ago. The RF 83's would be crazy awsome.

I do have a problem tho, When i play music via my ipod connection the subwoofer doesnt kick in. Ive checked all through my receiver manual and the only thing it says is: Playing in stereo mode utilizes only the front left and right speakers (and possibly the subwoofer in some setups)

I just think Klipsch focuses WAY too much on the highs. To me (and a lot of other people) they are WAY too harsh. This is my main problem with Klipsch. Yes, the sound pretty decent, but not for long periods of time.

As for the subwoofer... You don't have a 2.1 mode to choose from? That seems odd.

I don't have the problem I guess, cause each of my speakers have a 15" powered subwoofer in them... lol

You're gonna have to do like Pro Logic II or something I guess.

yes they are not best out there from klipsch or any other brand but they do a good job for the price I began with Klipsch moved to Infinity Beta line and sounded fantastic now I was lucky enough to score with a JBL Synthesis and yes there really is no comparison but so is the money $500 speaker vs $3,500 per Synthesis speaker your Def Tech's are awesome in their own way it's just a matter of buying the best you can within your budget

I have act 3 preamp by acurus and acurus sep amps for mains and then another for center and rears. 200 watts per channel(high end) low dist. and vel. hgs 18 sub. My klipsch speakers are klf20(two10's) klf7(two8's) and klipsch rears with 8 inch woofer. This system is good. I have a large room. Your receiver is fine. Klipsch are sensitive. 123 manic doesn't know squat.
