Yes. It's completely portable. I wouldn't recomend doing so though.

probably because he silenced it. i think the SCM does that when the alarm is silenced.

It is a small module that allows SmartSync alarms to work with any conventional alarm panel with a steady 24vDC current.
can he alarms do code four! is that a licensed code?

the 4 blasts at the end is to let people know the alarms are now being silenced, it's just a simplex thing.

Yes. It is a Simplex 4903-9419 T/A N/A A/V.

Simple. Just needed a few 4"x4" electrical boxes, toggle switches, a few batteries, and an SCM.
