I recently lost my cousin to addiction, I almost lost an uncle too. My dad's an addict, and my sister is becoming one. I've been surrounded by addicts and, alcoholics all my life. I know I'm prone to addiction, that's what scares me the most. I've already been down that road once, and I almost didn't come back up. I've been clean for nearly a year now, but, everyday is a fight, a struggle, a loosing battle. Hearing these songs, gives me hope that I can overcome this battle. Keep fighting!

Drugs dont have to be injected or smoked to be drugs. The stupid things that we do to harm ourselves, that we know are wrong, but do anyway, those are drugs too. Personally I think that this song..this album is a true piece of work. It is honestly one of my favorite albums. I totally agree with AlexisKnight about how there are things you are addicted to and can't live without. This CD showed great symbolism for that. We all face hard times in our life, we all go through things that we sometimes wish we hadn't. Just remember they make us who we are. I see your point and respect that...I'm just going off my experience with friends and family. What an amazing video! The songs totally awesome!!!! But why really would anyone want a photo of Nikki Sixx in an ambulance. It looked to me like when he almost died in 87. @MrBakeit sometimes those people dont have the strength to help themselves because of the drugs and they need somebody close to them that cares to help them and keep on trying to help them until they go get the rehab

I see your point and respect that...I'm just going off my experience with friends and family. Walking away and telling them your not a doormat any longer is the hardest thing to do, but sometimes it might be the only step you can take before any change occurs...good or bad. There is a difference between supported and enabling and maybe I should have said that instead. Good point, Sketchy.

I had resp. and heart failure last July 31st, And Im only 33. This song and this album have helped me with certain problems. So thank you NIKKI for the diaries and all that you went threw to help people like me. GOD BLESS

haha favorite album ever...herion diaries soundtrack...nikki is lucky...he died 3 times i think? it was 3 or 4 but how they brought him back...its crazy though...but i love this album..i own it..well my friend owns it..and i constantly borrow it from him so i would say i own it...but all of his music in this album has meaning..one of my favorites is girl with golden eyes..when i first listened to it i thought it was about a girl...but i was wrong..it was about heroin...wich kinda depresses me...
