Mine came from Tennessee and is a strong licker-so that's how he got his name. =)

we have a blue heeler named Zeus and he's so smart, learned to sit in 20 minutes, shake in less than an hour and I never really had to teach him fetch he just did it on his own LOL. My hubby is trying to teach him this trick but he's too excited to sit still that long....have any secrets? Our heeler is just barely a year old so maybe he's still too much of a puppy yet....

great job!! The first picture,he looked just like our BH girl. She has a shorter and more black tail then your boy. What's your tip on how you got him to do that?

I started off with putting a small treat on his nose. I would make sure his nose was level before I put the treat on & would tell him to wait. I also would do it at least 3 times in a row each time and praised him more for keeping his nose still with the treat on it than for catching the treat in his mouth. He caught on to what we wanted after about 3 or 4 days. Later I started putting the ball on his nose.
