  • Cute names :O)

  • I thought so. But, I didn't win the contest...

  • sorry you did not win :(

  • Kind of late, sorry.

But Onyx is a good name for a black cat.

  • Better late than never.

    I like that name...

  • Actually i is a good name for a black cat.

What did you name him, btw??

  • Don't worry, we don't have a cat.

    You know Tommy is allergic.

It was a video response to Lizador's contest.

She ended up with Nero as the name...

  • Oh, dammit! How could I forget that?

I HAVE to check the pills the doc

    prescribed.

  • Gray is the preferred spelling, unless you are a subject of the Queen i.e., English. Perhaps, British also, I dunno. Anyway, I had a budgie that was yellow and green like the colors of a ripening banana. I named her Chiquita.

Hey, don't believe me Check a box of Crayola's, uh huh, grAy? I thought so.

  • You are right, but in this case I am right.

Even though my cockatiel is 'gray', the actual name for his species is 'normal grey'.

They are indigenous to Australia. So, I named him after Sydney, Australia. But, I spell his name Sidney. Go figure?

  • My research indicates that your statement appears to have merit with regard to species.

That means, ...You're right! (there, I said it, ha!)

I stand corrected in my orthopedic shoes.

  • Orthopedic shoes or not.

    When I'm right, I'm right.

    Unless I'm wrong...

  • I used to have a cat named Smoky, it was gray. Or "grey" if you live in Canada.

  • Well, I have a grey cockatiel, or is it gray? No, I think it is grey, no matter where you live. Smoky would have been a great name for him. Where were you when I was trying to think of a name?

  • Nice work!

  • Thanks...

  • that's it! i'm calling something sambuca. don't know what, but i am! :-)

  • Perhaps a black cat?

Or, how about a sea monster?

Best yet, it might work for a bottle of Sambuca.

  • Thanks so much for participating! :-) The winner will be announced on Monday!

  • Quality name choices

  • Thanks Evil...

  • lol I liked "licorice" that sounds cute.

  • Thanks Andrea...

  • Those are some interesting name choices to be sure :)

    *****

    -Larry

  • Thanks Larry...

  • My vote is Sen-Sen. You can call him Sen, or you can call him Sen. :-) I always have trouble naming pets and usually pick muppet names. My old African Grey parrot was named Grover. I'm not sure which muppet name would fit a cat though. Hmmm...

  • My favorite was Sen-Sen also.

That's why I saved it for last.

My yellow lab is named after a LoonyTunes character. Her name is Daffy Dog...

  • senbuca

  • Good one. I like it...

  • Very clever.

  • Thanks Ann...

  • Lol!

  • Thanks for watching...

  • Your choices have me heading to my kitchen! Cheers, Lesley

  • Is that where you keep your Sambuca?

  • Lots of good stuff in your vid made me head off to where I keep my good stuff, munch, slurp! L

  • i liked the sensen.

    . . ^

    ,o

    peace. gregg

  • Thanks Gregg,

    I liked that one too,

that's why I saved it for last...

  • i like licorice. good luck.

  • Thanks Kim...

  • Now what a pickle Sen-Sen or Tank or Oh boy i hope they get a good name or get more cats to name lol.

  • More cats, great idea...

  • ciao mary! very nice collaboration...

ask for more music, you are welcome!

  • Ciao Marcello,

You did a wonderful job with the music.

    Thank you once again...

  • Hi Mary! Is Sen-Sen a type of confectionary or a brand name? I'd probably eventually shorten Licorice to "Licky".. which is what cats do.. so that would be ok ;-)

  • Sen-Sen is a brand name of a licorice-flavored candy, that looks like mouse poop. It was popular many years ago. You don't see it around too much these days...

  • ok you got me beat by a mile !

    nero? what was i thinking?

    LOL

very cool video and nice ideal.

  • I was just joking with you.

    Nero is a great name...

  • thank you. i knew you were kidding, but thanks for being so kind.

i still think yours is better

    wink wink

  • All cute names! :-)

  • Thanks 'other Mary'...

  • nice names

  • Thanks Mel...

  • Hayley's Mum has two black cats, one is called "black cat" its a stray and only comes for food and the other is called "Little Nevil", strange I know lol, oh guess what, only one more sleep before I pick the car up.:)

  • So, how is the new car?

Please don't run over any cats with it...

  • Its fantabulas, went out for a long drive yesterday, as soon as it stops raining I will film at a new location, I will steer clear of cats don't worry.:)

  • Ooh I like Sambuca and both of its nicknames. Rooting for that one.

  • I like it too.

    Thanks Mike...

  • I wonder if there's a prize for the person who names her pussycat.

  • Yes, Robert, pay attention.

The prize is a Lizador t-shirt.

    It's not my cat.

But, you gotta be in it to win it...

  • ahaha, its such a cute kitty!! u picked some cute names too lol i like buca hehe ;D

  • He is adorable, isn't he.

He was given the name Poker, but doesn't respond to it. So, I gave it my best shot...

  • poker!! lol ahahaaa

  • thank you so much for entering my first contest, you are so awesome!

  • Not only did I make a video response, I imported music from Italy, and I'm not late...

  • I had to encode "sputsu" to comment.... ooooooh how bout sputsu for a name? huh huh huh???????

  • It's not my cat. This was a video response to Lizador. Hmmm, Sputsu. If you scramble the letters, you get Supstu. Kind of like 'what's up Stu'? That's better than sputsu...

  • I thought it would be pronounced "SPOO ZOO"

Like Sun Tzu Art of War....

  • Have you read it?

  • No...

  • Ah many corporate executives read it now... It is a guru book of sorts... Something that can be applied to many things in life...

  • My reply was going to be 'how do you get spoo zoo out of sputsu'. But, you are, once again absolutely correct...

  • I am no guru... remember even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then.. he he he

  • Sen Sen reminds me too much of phen phen... How about cat? =)

  • I don't know what phen phen is?

Sen-Sen is a licorice flavored candy that I always remember my mom had in her purse. OK, it looks a little like rat poop, but it tastes like licorice...

  • Phen phen was that diet drug that was blamed for causing all those heart disease issues back in the 80's and 90's...I know...I'm such a dork to remember that stuff!

I really do like sen sen...I was giving you a hard time =)

  • Now I know what your talking about.

Between 84 and 86 I lost 30 excess pounds that I gained by eating too much Sen-Sen in the 70's, OK, maybe it was the 60's...

  • Nice title by the way! ROFL!

Ok I have the winning names right here hahahhaa

    1. Midnight

    2. Sophie

    3. Pepper, pepe, peppy

  • Actually, Midnight and Pepper were at the top of my list too. Post a video response to Lizador with your choice of cat names. Maybe we can share the t-shirt, 6 months for me, 6 months for you...

  • Oh! this isn't your cat? hahahahha Lemmo go see what this is attached to. sorry I didn't see that lol

  • No, not about my cat. Although I do have a black cat named Petey. It's a long story...

  • Alright, 6 months for me and 6 months for you lol I'll upload mine on my pipresponds channel.. it needs a t-shirt lol

  • I had a Siamese called Sambuca! And I did call her Sami for short.

    XX, Gay

  • Brilliant minds think alike...

  • Call him "Spanish for dummies"!! :)

  • S.F.D. for short?
