Many people use this text to "prove" that the son's of God must be from the line of Seth. The fallen one's do plenty of things that are in direct opposition to God's will. No where in the Bible does it say that fallen angels don't have sex, and more than once in Genesis it says that they do. People read into and take out what they want.

I do agree that MANY of the books that people try to add are bogus, but the Book of Enoch has been around a long time. I also agree that we should stick with the Word (Bible) provided but that doesn't mean that some other texts that are authenticated aren't worthy of reading. If they really were from the lineage of Seth and all flesh was wiped out during the flood, how were they on the earth afterwards? Someone had to come along and spawn the unique, specificaly named race again.
The Book of Enoch was considered solid until it was removed by the Vatican church. They seem to do a lot of things that don't bother them to change. And the verses in Job 2:1 (gives reference to angels being the sons of God) and 38:4,7 (how could this be men when Adam had not been created)? Angels do not have free will, so if an angel did something against God's will they were banished from Heaven, becoming Fallen Angels. A fair interpretation of Jesus' statement is that God knows how to make it fair for the resurrected ones when it happens. Many people use this text to "prove" that the son's of God must be from the line of Seth. The fallen one's do plenty of things that are in direct opposition to God's will. No where in the Bible does it say that fallen angels don't have sex, and more than once in Genesis it says that they do. People read into and take out what they want.

I do agree that MANY of the books that people try to add are bogus, but the Book of Enoch has been around a long time. I also agree that we should stick with the Word (Bible) provided but that doesn't mean that some other texts that are authenticated aren't worthy of reading. If they really were from the lineage of Seth and all flesh was wiped out during the flood, how were they on the earth afterwards? Someone had to come along and spawn the unique, specificaly named race again.

The Book of Enoch was considered solid until it was removed by the Vatican church. They seem to do a lot of things that don't bother them to change. And the verses in Job 2:1 (gives reference to angels being the sons of God) and 38:4,7 (how could this be men when Adam had not been created)? I could be wrong but the evidence that is on earth proves something "crazy" was in the mix during the ancient times. Abraham actually sat and shared a meal with the "sons of God".
