Cyprien Katsaris is a pianist of limitless talent and technique. Sometimes, rarely, at the expense of the composition. I am afraid this might be one of those rare occurences. And it just may be that particular concert. I have heard 2 other readings of this work which I like much more than this one. Live concert, different mood....it happens.
