Hey, thanks for posting this video! I'm going up to the boundry waters in Minnisota in August and I'm dead set on catching some lake trout! Last time around I just went for Northerns and bass. Good eatin', but I nothin' beats a trout.
you could use that method for catfish, although you probably wouldn't be fishing 70 or 80 feet down. You'd need to reduce the amount of weight you're using.
do you know how to slap a fishing spoon??? they say if you slap your spoon it increases your catch

i suggest a light pound test from 3 way to sinkers so if u get caught up you dont loose the entire rig
