people have told me that watching my videos helps them relax or be happy etc, so they have lowered their anxiety medication, or smiled on a particulrly bad day. if i can make people happy just by doing silly voices, then i dont consider it a bad thing at all :)

ps. i am nothing like magibon. i put effort and talent into my videos to entertain people. she sits there and does nothing. and gets paid for it.

it frustrates me endlessly to see how many people watch her videos. when they could be doing something more contructive. i dont expect them to go save whales or anything, but watching her blink into the camera is a waste of life.

maybe people think my videos are a waste of life too? but at least im trying to make people happy in some form.

I don't think there was anything overly excited about my comment; telling someone to "calm down" simply because they don't share your enthusiasm for something is a very good way to provoke an angry response (particularly when you follow your comment with a smiley face... very patronizing, to say the least). The real source of my unrest is the fact that people (as in "the audience") incresingly seem to be more interested in becoming engrossed in totally meaningless things like this than they are in taking an active interest in the state of the world they live in. It makes me sick that millions of people will spend cumulative hours out of their life watching things like the Magibon videos or LonelyGirl or whatever, and yet you'd be hard-pressed to find 100,000 people who have devoted a comparable
