@L1T3BR1T3 there isnt any set way to do the dance, just the basic part of the dance is set in stone, the right, left, kick, turn. how you do it is up to the individual. you should see some of the nonsense cupid does in the instructional video xD

Where this dance comes from in Acadiana, Louisiana not just young people dance like the rest of America, ALL people dance, rich, poor, young, old, black, and even white (Cajuns). It ashamed that Louisiana is one of the few places where dancing is part of life, not just youth. Next time you come to Louisiana attend a summer zydeco or cajun dance.

Best video I've viewed on this line dance. Due to their great dance instruction I am going to teach 'The Cupid Shuffle' to the dance class I have formed to raise money for NAMI (The Nation's Voice on Mental Illness). During the lunch hour on my job we are line dancing to raise money for this non-profit organization...and this dance on particular video is easy to follow and the music is great. I give it an A+.
