  • MashaAllah sister, you're so inspiring! May Allah S.W.T bless you in life and the Hereafter! Ameen! : ) xx

  • Maybe someone can encourage these 'so-called' sisters of islam have a open voice to something useful, like raising up a voice against the Boko Haram in Nigeria. The BH are killing babies, little children in the name of allah. Instead these dumb ass's of women talk about covering up the nappy head, instead of raisng up a voice against the black on black killing of babies and young children.

Please look at the Youtube videos of Muslims chopping babies in half; the christians cannot prevent ..

  • You are so beautiful....May Allah continue to bless you.

  • goood teaching here in this video Allah u Akbar

  • I want to thank you for this video. I'm a new convert and this helped me a lot.

  • A.L.L.A.H.--ALLAT paa Nazdiru is/ is inside/ is around/ is with me you[generally speaking] our sistar/brother. Be your own judge to what is agreeable to you. Look inside to find that Allat/A.l.l.a.h. That will give any the wisdom of appropriate dress.

  • those muslims act like the one by my house.rude ass arabs dont even want to talk to you.and from the sound of it. go yo a mosqe with americans

  • those muslims act like the one by my house.rude ass arabs dont even want to talk to you.and from the sound of it.

  • I have had a similar experience. I went to the mosque and had never been to one before and the sister told me firmly to go to the front and I was nervous because I was still learning how to pray. I stayed in the back but I did not feel welcomed by my sisters. I tried to attend group events but was glared at and lectured in a harsh way. Alhamduliallah anyway. :)

  • LOL @ MUSLIMS DONT JUDGE!! ALLAH SUBHANA WA ta'ALA made ORIGINAL MAN FROM BLACK CLAY!! ITS OKAY YOU ARE ASHEMED TO BE BLACK! THERE WOULD BE NO ISLAM IN AMERICA ALSO WITHOUT ELIJAH MUHAMMAD!

  • "Muslims" who judge are people who themselves aren't follow Islam properly too (they probably swear, lie, cheat, steal, disobey parents, not paying zakat etc). Muslims DO NOT judge and are happy to help anyone who wants to gain knowledge.

  • @killla Lie: "Allah indeed has sanctioned for you the expiation of your oaths and Allah is your Protector, and He is the Knowing the Wise." Sura 66.02

Steal: "And He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and a land which you have not yet trodden, and Allah has power over all things." Sura 33:27

Kill: “fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, torture them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.” Sura 9:5

  • @MohammedTheBabyRaper If those are true then why don't I ever hear of them to be followed in mosques and lectures. Instead, I hear total opposite. I also have looked in to your ayat quotes and I have found that you have just took specific parts of the surah. Read the whole surah from the beginning and you will see an explaination for those words.

  • HERE IS THE THING... WICCA WOULD NEVER ABUSE SOMONE FOR WEARIGN REVIELIGN CLOTHING ISLAM ALWASY DOES

  • Great Video! As-Salaam Alaikum. Some muslims can be harsh in their words. I've actually seen new muslims leave Islam because someone at the mosque yelled at them for various reasons. I think anyone who treats non-Muslims or new-Muslims or anyone this way at the mosque should be banned from the Mosque for one month.

  • najuah you touch my heart you beautiful sister may allah reward you.

  • Goooooood Video :D

  • You are a beautiful sister with a good heart as all good Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, etc also are.

Some folk join gangs, others religions, political parties, clubs etc. It gives them a sense of belonging. They form little clicks within their own organisations and that is how it has been since the giddy of year. It is time for an end to ALL religion. One God, One Truth. Religion has little to do with that. Religions are bound by duality and this too shall come to pass. Amen!

  • How dare you @whiteraceredneck get over yourself, there's no reason for me to curse you out online but say that in someones face and get knocked down. S/W to all my muslim brothers and sisters lets give this ignorant person no energy but remember what this Muslimah has said. I so agree with you sister we have to be careful how we preach to each other cause you never know what could hurt someones feelings or scare them away. it is always better to teach than to judge.

  • @whiteraceredneck STOP BEING HATEFUL!! That is not the way anyone ever solved anything! You will just drag yourself into a deep, deep rut of misery and loneliness.

  • most all muslim sell dope

  • Al Hamdou Lillah, May Allah reward you, increases your knowdleges. A word that comes from the heart, reaches the heart it is directed to.

  • WAS SALAM 3LIKUM SISTER

I LIKE THE SONG THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO IS CALLED?

SORRY NOT MUCH ENGLISH ONLY UNDERSTAND SOME WORDS

  • SALAM SISTER: I LIKE THE SONG THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO IS CALLED?

  • Alhamdulilah so true ukhti i personally when i go to the masjid i give salaams ,offer my rakahs then i grab a book n read till the khutbah starts i'm there 4 allah swt not others

  • Hello, I am a new revert, i am going to say my shahadah with my friend Kajeen tomorrow , this helped me alot

  • @Flstudiogirl alhamdulilah be sure to watch our New Shahadah 101 video it will insha' Allah be very helpful.

  • @Flstudiogirl Mash'Allah , good choice! :)

  • @MegaLoveMessage The first martyr in islam was a woman named Sumaya, the first person to become muslim was a woman named Khadija. Women are given a very high status in islam.

    Peace.

  • @nikkip So what? Have you ever had a woman sultan in islam? NEVER. Women in islam had never had any voice. I can quote many women in the west who ruled over empires, Isabela of Spain, Elisabeth I of England, Marie of Medicis of France, Catherine of Russia, Mary Teresa of Austria, etc. They ruled over empires when women in islam where huddled in harems without anything to say. Islam is a misogynistic religion. Women inherit half, their testimony is worth half, 2:282 and they can be beaten, 4:34

  • @nikkip1984 Erm hanging, flogging, honour killing, forced marriage, laws saying woemn cant drive, that they cannot leave a home witbtou a male family member, have friends of the opposite sex, date, make love to who they want, female genital muttilation etc etc and being made to were impractical restricitive clothing whihc removes their identity, separates them from society and prevents equal sporting footing with guys

NONE OF THAT IS A HIGH STATUS IS IT?ISLAM TALKS LIES WHEN YOU OBSERVE REALITY

  • @IntelligenceRationa3 i actually have no desire to get into any debates with uneducated people, so this will be my only reply to you. do some research! most of the things you listed are cultural not islamic, even going against islam. as in every religion, some people disregard the rules and take what they like, creating their own sort of religion along the way. honor killings, women cant drive, female genital mutilation, all these things are examples of things that are cultural not islamic.>

  • @nikkip1984 Oh Im educated... its arrogant to assume just as you read one relgious book this makes you educated, I see documentires of all subects all the tine, am a good inventro, creator etc. I do reserach, ive seen execution videos, studied human rights and woemns rights reports on female circumcsion, honour killings, forced arranged marriage, chaild marriage. and before you try its culture not relgion in isalm is it not

A way of life? what is culture? a way of life its one in the same

  • @nikkip1984

Intelligent peopel hve pattern based thinking they look at things from the outside and the patterns that occur... you say this culture and relgion are separate yet where you get one you nearly always get the other , but where this relgion does not exist you do not get these cultureal practices.

that shows that thay are connected.

If it was just culkture you would only get honour killing in one area not many where islam exists, all these things follow islam, but not buddism/wicca etc

  • @IntelligenceRationa3 are you saying that athiests have no culture? i beg to differ. culture and religion are seperate. there are many muslim countries with many different cultures. pakistani culture is different from saudi culture which is different from morrocan culture, and so on and so forth.

  • @nikkip1984 Im saying athiests are not slave to any culture, things are no done like they are absolute rules you can change them like banning foxhunting which was a culture, or adding no smoking rules, making eating more healhty, creating new music subcultures etc things evolve but relgions are mostly stuck in dark ages with peopel doing things withtou thinking.

  • @nikkip1984 You say the cultures are different so explain a shariah law in many of them with the same sexsim, abuses of yogn single females wanting an independant love and sex life, persecution of gays, etc

  • there are many cultures in africa and around the world that are not muslim yet practice female circumcision, female infanticide, etc. broaden your mind. as i said im not interested in debate to you your beliefs to me mine. in Islam we are encouraged to read and question things as Allah always provides a solution to those who are aware. i converted to islam less than two years ago, and believe me i have read more than just one religious book. p.s. intelligent people check their spelling. peace

  • @nikkip1984 so if Islam is so perfect why does it not stop it say by tommoroe? if this perfect way of life that controls it all ... actually why does it not speak out against it and say allah forbids it you will bern in hell for eternity and actually

Islam will stop persecting gays, couples, no more problems with adultary, apostry etc etc and all alttention to be set on decaliring way or things like female infanticaide, female circumcsion with a holy wat against such abuses?

  • @nikkip1984 My mind is broad enough to accept buddims, wicca, paganisim, gays even though athiest but no bad mean bully sexist, homophobic irrational beleifs are allowed

I see no questioning ithings in islam , infact such action is deemed unislamic, aposty and in some islamic countires punishable by death

  • @nikkip1984 Oh and just as somethign appears to have many anwers does not mean they are right or fair

  • @nikkip1984 The first thing educated peopel do is to question... themselves, their beliefs, their culture, their family and their relgions etc.

No educated person does things simply as everyoen else, it says so in a relgions books, as their parents said so as some authourity just says so etcThis is how educ people decided to rebel against slavoury, the idea the world was flat, faught for womens & gays rights, crushed church power etc.is islam was educated these cultural practices would not exist

  • @nikkip1984 Educated peopel build comparision charts like you see with say reviews on printers, they make decisions by comparing which is best and honestly look at the falws in all. They dont blindly follow their own current say software., likewise relgions.

You compare the cultural practies associated with each beleif, , you dont look at what theyb saybthey do you look at what really happens etc

  • @nikkip1984

Educated peopel do not stick to theroy whihc may be false

on paper communisim sounds great in practice its not. christianity &islam say they are peace and love the evidence shows otherwise

Looking at heavey metallers you may think them violent yet theres are the safest most peacful clubs.

Wicca and witchraft is made out to be evil.

Yet when was the last witch terroist attack or crusade? how come if bad woemn get top posotions, no secatarianism, and lots of medicine?

  • our clothing is not restrictive and does not hide our identity unless you consider body shape and hairstyle to be identity. my beauty is for my husband and family members only, and it is my right to preserve myself in this manner. my identity is about more than what my body or hair looks like, and i think its really sad that you reduce a womans identity to such. do the world a favor and research before making assumptions.any rule in islam is for the betterment of humankind and protection of all.

  • @nikkip1984 If you cover your face nobody knows who you are.

Can you climb trees, vault fences operate machinery with no danger of dangly bits gettign caught and things getting messy then its restrictive, much like high heels are impractical.

Hairstyle says a lot about your persoanlity, such as if you colur it, want a plain style or funky or outragous like green and pink spikes or coloured streaks, it says a lot about how you express yourself

What about all the single peopel not married?.

  • @nikkip1984

Peopel express themselves with things like a football or a heavey metal band t shirt, all the colours n their clothes, It is you who reduces woemn to looks so far what I have said applies equally to guys and girls, body shape just shows youbare healhty and if you are a girl or guy. I do do research, forced arranged marriages, flogging, stonign and hanging single peopel for dating, having opposote sex friends or sex outside a marriage is not protecting anyone, no face no identityM/F

  • @nikkip1984

Why would anyone restrict themselfs to a life around husband and family... what about all male and female friends? how about a careers, hobbies, interests, sports, musical interests, all the life outsoide the family... certianly when single as a child and as a independnant teenager and young adult away from home no parental family and no marriage yet hanging out with friends and dating etc?

idnetity is in the extreme sports, musical interest, skils, ability you express

  • peace/asa I have had similar experience but, you need to ave thicker skin remember you are dealing wit muslim PEOPLE..peace

  • Thank you. I am not Muslim yet, but I like what you have to say. You are a beautiful sister.

  • as for the comment below by pce4lyf there is a correct way to correct peoples mistakes and a wrong way and if you choose the wrong way then this is what pushes followers away from then deen, and as a convert I know this is particularly difficult, mashaAllah wonderful video sister! jazaki Allah khair for posting!

  • Reminder: 1. Ordinary adornments like kohl, henna, or a ring are permissible to wear in public. Extra adornment, like perfume, lipstick, dazzling eye colors, and the like are not permissible to wear in public. In short, any type of adornment which makes a woman look "made-up" and attracts amorous attention is not permissible, as this would defeat the whole purpose of hijab.

  • Stay Strong Sista.,.The Time is Changing.,.,.,

  • COnt'd:

So the question now becomes- What do we do about these unlawful divisions in the Ummah? How can we bring everyone together and follow what ALLAH (SWT) TELLS us CLEARLY in the Holy Qur'an? BIG questions require sometimes very simple answers- FOLLOW what ALLAH (SWT) commands us to do revealed in the Holy Qur'an.

May Allah(SWT) continue to guide us ALL to the true path that is Islam with NO divisions in the Ummah. Ameen.

    JazakAllah khair.

    Ukhti fi Islam,

    Sabah :D

  • Salam Alaykoum wa Rhamatullah wa Barakatuh Sisters:

I am revert to Islam now since 9/2007 (during my 1st Ramadan) Hamdulilah!!! I am Sunni &u r right-there r many divisions in the Ummah- Shiite, Sunni, Salafi, etc. But the Holy Qur'an CLEARLY states in Surah 3:103- : "Hold fast to the rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves..." . Surah 3:105 Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves & fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty...".

  • Marshallah, this video is deff true talk sister. Keep the dawah comin.

  • dont wear earings , and dont make up , and dont put music at the begining of your video caus music for you is forbidden.GOD BLESS CHRISTIANITY AND PROMOTING TOLERANT IDEAS OF LOVING EVEN A PROSTITUTE AS U LOVE YOURSELF !AMEN!

  • caus in summer is hot.not to get some yaki look for god knows from who.tht s why when u go to arabic country if u wear tshirt men look at u.if u wear tshirt in civilised places they dont find your sex appeal , caus they re educated it s normal as for a woman as for a man.....caus we re equal!n this thing hijab or no hijab....... the presenter has hijab , it s obvious she was gonna say: hey sisters , wear hijab...u wear hijab so u ll b modest n non provocative which i agree.but in this case

  • OH MY GOD! if you someone makes someone else feel bad in a mosque or church or whtever , because she s got no apropriate clothes(i mean , i bet she was not there in swiming suite)...... insted of telling those people your wonderful islam says is haram to judge , YOU GO TAKE HER TO SHOPS WHERE SHE CAN GET COVERED¿i ve got a better idea.why dont you educate your men , women are not objects ment to make them think bout sex, but to respect them no matter if they wear short sleeve?i show my arms

  • Thats messed up.. someone at least should helped that girl by finding somethin else to cover her hair nd and loose pants, or someone should have be friended her to show her the right way to dress

  • Fasiq

  • salam alaikum sister i want to know if you are hurt by what other sisters are sayings to you about your make up and earrings?

  • This is a very good video! There's a huge difference between correcting someone, reminding them, and judging them --- and when doing either of the first two, you need to be VERY careful that you're not seeming judgmental. A commenter noted that a Muslim, upon being corrected, ought to feel grateful, but how grateful can one be when faced with rudeness, or even someone outright yelling at them?

    Anyway, awesome video. :D

  • ohh this makes me cry

    mashallah <3

    good job,

    i grew up christian

and im learning soooo much about islam & i love it !

inshallah i will say my shahada soon,

    im very excited! inshallah!

  • @jvegas069 alhamdulilah let us know if you have any questions = )

  • @Muslimah2Muslimah sisters jazakallah. keep giving dawah it is so true what your saying i have seen it happen in here in uk to traditional muslims who give reverts not the best impresion. but the profit (saw) said it is not an over night transformation when you take your shahadah. keep repin islam salaam

  • @jvegas069 good luck with everything :)

  • @jvegas069 mashallah, I myself am also i convert to Islam, i converted this year in March, while i'm only the young 14 yrs old. Islam is a beautiful religion, and any time you need help please feel free to come ask me. It can be a struggle at first, for I know it was for me, but once you experience life as a Muslim and meet other Muslim brothers and sisters, your life will become so much better. Inshallah you take your shahada soon!

  • @jvegas069:

Masha'Allah (As Allah(SWT) willed it)!!! May Allah(SWT) continue to guide u 2 the true path that is Islam!! Just like Muslimah2Muslimah has offered, if u have any questions or concerns re: Islam & the Muslimah, let me know. I too am a revert to Islam (9/2007- during my 1st Ramadan), Hamdulilah!!!! I came from teaching Catholicism to teaching the TRUTH of Islam in my masjid. Hamdulilah, SubhanAllah!!!

    Sabah:D

  • @jvegas069 good for you!!!

Allah says the cristians who convert will get a double reward Qur'an 57:27-28

Your already muslim brother or sister, whether you take your shahada or not, Thank Allah for guiding you and many others who follow the right path. :)

  • your so helpful sister <3

    please do continue making videos.

    and makeup ..?

i wear makeup . and i never really heard if as being reffered to "haraam"

  • Alhamdulillah great video. Especially with convert sisters we need to learn to be really patient and understanding... everyone comes from different backgrounds and we're not suddenly going to know how to dress once we take shahada or even how to act.

  • This is sad, I fell like someone saw me last month and posted this. Cause this was me just 3 weeks ago.

  • Your words touch me deeply, you are a beautiful person. I went to a store to buy some modest clothing because I have gained weight and my clothes have become too fitting and the woman who works at the shop didn't greet me or respond to my greetings or help me out in any way, she stood back glaring at me like she was mad at me, it hurt my feelings and made me feel like I am not welcome there. I wish more women were as understanding as you are.

  • Salam... Its haram to pluck your eyebrows and to wear that much make up.

  • @BrotherIslam And it's haram to be watching this in the first place if you're a guy, right?

  • @aurayon No. It's not haram it's only haram to look at female breasts and other naked bodies.

  • @BrotherIslam How do you know whats haram or not? Are you Allah? No.

Let Allah (swt) be the judge.

  • @mxahme How I know? The Quran says you shall protect your modesty.

  • @BrotherIslam Yeah but modesty comes from within. It's not solely based on how you dress, it comes within. Your intentions matter the most. And only Allah swt knows what your true intentions are. Ameen.

  • 'Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh

    i love ur videos

true muslimahs do not judge by wot u wear such as hijab , niqab , no hijab n wot clothes u wear western or islamic as long as she modesty dress

i really sorry that my sis had 2 go through this xx

  • This was interesting.

  • Comment removed

  • When I was in Uni, I saw a muslim girl up in the club with skimpy clothes and just altered the way she was wearing her hijab, kinda like a head wrap...props to her for doin her thing, at the end of the day she was a nice girl, clean, practiced her faith.

  • That was such a sad story

I'm so happy she didn't give up on Islam from that terrible expereince

She is clearly a women with a huge Iman

    Mashallah.

Thanks for sharing the love :)

  • Yea, I cannot stand when we mistreat eachother. May Allah forgive us all and guide to treat eachother with respect.

  • Sad, but true. Muslims are very judgemental towards one another. That girl had the essence of faith in her heart but was turned away. This is what religion does to people - separates them further from others.

  • no, religion doesn't separate people from each other, it's people's wicked actions and bad intentions which separate them from each other,

O mankind! Lo! We have created you from male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.

    Quran ( 49:13)

  • A sad story about that revert girl. The underlying point of the hijab is to remain modest. Heck, you could wear a t-shirt and jeans and that alone would be considered modest in a Western context. It is obligatory for a Muslimah to wear a hijab but harshly judging a non-hijabi because she doesn't wear one might only serve to drive her away from wearing one. We have enough problems with Islamophobes to be treating each other so stupidly. Gentle preaching the Quran says.

  • You all are to focused on the exterior, focus on her underlying message...which I believe is judge not lest ye be judged...who cares what her hijab looks like the colour doesnt make her anyless muslim than a sister who wears black...Im a revert and you all are making me physically sick just by reading your comments and I wouldnt wanna be surrounded by such negative people, who are just tryna show off and act like they are perfect, you cant fool allah

CORRECT YOURSELVES BEFORE YOU CORRECT OTHERS

  • well said sister, we have to correct ourselves before trying to correct others, this actually reminds me of a very beautiful hadith of prophet Muhammed (pbuh) in which he says

" glad tidings to those people whose defects preoccupied them from other people's defects"

    peace

  • Jazakallah for the message sister, it is needed.

  • God, you're so beautiful!

  • i'm sure that is not meant to be the focus

  • It isn't. But truth is truth. i'm not muslim anyway, if she wants me to take off the comment I will. Or she can do it. Peace.

  • I agree! We cant only be practicing external Islam... which means we are going to wear all these Abayat are Hijab and thowbs and leather socks, but we are gonna treat others wrong. Thats not Islam. Islam is only about Love for Allah, and Love for Allah is kindly reminding our brothers and sisters.

  • alhumdulilah i support what you are doing because allot of brothers and sisters are standing up and speaking out to the world instead we are lashing at each other about what sect you claim like Islam is some gang may allah have mecry on us we have allot of work to do as a ummah. we must understand how the shaytan has divided us through out the history and how our loosing the correct understanding made us loose our faith and now we are indulge in the material and have forgot about the next

  • alhumdulilah sister may allah bless you the situation with us sister is that we are living the prophecy of muhammad (pbuh) and really that is all apart of Allah mashia (will) our understanding of the religion is different what is suppose to ground us is the aqeeda the creed the proper belief in allah understanding his attributes correctly the way the ahl a sunnah wa jammat understood it meaning the people who follow the sunnah and what the majority follow this is the key may Allah bless you

  • we have two masques in town and I don't go to the first masque that was built here in town, because it is like you say in your video- it is very divided and It is hard to make friends here that are muslims. They have built a new one but i am worried to go to this one as well. I am afraid I will get the same negative experience.

  • Mashallah... you seem very nice and respectable sister. I really like the way ur so cool and speak smoothly, like the way the prophet taught us. but you said that none really knows the right way, this isnt right because the prophet (SAW) showed us the clear right way which is:

following the quran and sunnah... alhamdulilah we noe it cuz how are we ment to follow somthing we dont noe. :S lol

p.s- thanks again for the video and i hope i wasnt to harsh and the advice helps inshallah.

  • Salaams Najwa, I hope that is your name? I heard you say it on one of your other videos. Mine is as well. :) Ok to the point, I really enjoyed your video. It has in inspired me to start some things in my community. Like,Daroods, open discussions such as hijab and other topics. I am very happy that the sister you were talking about went back . I wish you well, in all that you do in Allah's name salaams

  • pce4lyf < DONT listen to this so called Muslim. I agree with what you're trying to teach in the video maam. I like your teaching style, it's with kind words instead of HARSH punchlines. These people who try advise other Muslims in such a crude way, are really not true believers, and i am saying this cause I have come across these imbeciles on numerous occasions. In Islam you teach with Wisdom and kind words, NEVER should you teach with Harsh and provocative material. Peace Sister, and to all.

  • @iremainmyself

Your calling me a so called Muslim? So called Muslims are those who are muslims by name, not by practice. I am a practicing Muslimah alhamduillah. If you were a practicing modest Muslim you too would have known that in Islam it's forbidden for Muslim women to behave in such a manner, modesty is part of our Imaan. It sends out a wrong message when a hijabi covers her head, body, but wears loud make up on her face instead.

  • gosh, you are unforgiving. May Alla SWT forgive you though. Arrogance is hated by Him

  • Arogance? I am NOT arogant. I reminded this sister (which is a farz) for one Muslim to remind another when they are not following Islam the right way. It has NOTHING to do with hate, it's about practicing Islam the right way, thats all!!! Problem is most people dont like it when you correct their mistakes, i guess the truth is bitter :) And yes very true arogance is hated by ALLAH (SWT), may HE forgive you too for the comment you made...have a nice day...peace!

  • Sister,

This is the exact type of behavior I am referring to on this video... You keep saying something about "loud makeup" when in fact, I don'y have on any makeup at all! LOL... Masha'Allah... May Allah forgive your assumptions. Ameen.

  • Salaam sister. What i ment was that, when a Muslimah wears the hijab there are certain rules. For example sisters can put kohl in the eyes, it is halal to wear kohl, but she cannot wear tight clothing, wear loud make up, shape her eye brows, wear long hanging earings that show from under her scarf.

  • @Muslimah2Muslimah

If she wants to make a display of herself to attract attention then what is the point in wearing the modest hijab? There are some sisters who wear wear head scarfs, but will wear skin tight jeans with short blouses is that proper hijab? It sends out the wrong message, but if any other Muslim sister or brother tries to correct them, their famous defence is oh i'm a moderate Muslim or my heart is clean!!!

  • Sister nobody is perfect except ALLAH (SWT) But we as Muslims have a duty, to remind each other, correct each other when we see something that is not right. However if i have hurt your feelings in any way i am sorry.

  • @Muslimah2Muslimah This video is acually very true because we are a nation divided and it is sad. I hope to Allah (SWT) that I meet ssisters with your mind set as i am lacking sisters/support in that area

  • @Muslimah2Muslimah you liar you do too have makeup on your face, I'm western and I know a made up face when I see one

  • @iremainmyself

Better NOT to wear the hijab than mix match the modest beautiful hijab with unislamic loud make up!!!

    Peace have a great day!!!

  • agree!

but it would be nicer if we all waer hijab for the most noble reason...you know what i mean...

    keep safe always!

  • no whats the reason, i dont know what you mean

  • Brothers and sisters the deen is Yusr not Osr which means take it easy, step by step. She's was just talking about ppl pushing 2 hard onto understanding and now ya are doing the same thing. If u have an advise 2 give then give it in a nice way that will make the person understand better and agree with u.

Sis ur video makes a lot of sense...yes sometimes u have 2 let ppl know when they doing something wrong but that doesn't mean 2 go 2 hard on them especally if they're still learning.

  • sister please if you want to talk about islam on video, first remove all the make up from ur face, you have lip gloss, eye shadow, plucked arched eyebrows, large hanging earings showing. SISTER THIS IS NOT HIJAB!!!

  • @pce4lyf -LOL!

  • @pce4lyf -U care more abt her make-up than what she is saying.

  • @kheir03

LOL no what i ment was if this sister was really serious about what she was saying, that she would not dress up for the camera this way. Muslim sisters dont need to wear large hanging earings are those earings?, put lip gloss eye shadow eye liner pluck the eye brows to come on camera and talk about Islam.

  • thats how women are they must find a fault about the next chick

  • true, it really gets me how nasty these are

  • you so right , we should not Judge to other muslims Specially the one who convert to Islam , cuz that could change their idea about this religion ..

  • mashallah

  • What point is it to be covering when your face is covered with make up? Are those drain covers on your ears? You are from USA right?

  • she wears hajab atleast

what are you trying to say women cant feel beautiful because she wears the hajab?

i see alot of people perseving islam negativly because they feel women should be covered completely and look ugly in their words?

    leave her alone ok!

im fed of of seeing muslim sisters looking as if we should feel sorry for them and that they are unhappy with islam. This girl is doing enough

remember islam is the religion in the middle doing too much or too little is wrong

  • islam says very clearly for women to be covered completely except the hands and face can be uncovered. also dress and present yourself in a way that would not attract the opposite sex to look at u

  • As Salaamu Alaikum, what you discuss in this video has actually happened to me personally. It was my first Ramadan and I went to a masjid to break fast and no one looked my way or returned my greeting. I never expected to get that kind of reaction from other Muslims. They tapped my shoulder in the middle of prayer to make me put on some clothing they had around the masjid and when I refused the lady actually came to me after prayer and told me my prayer wouldn't be accepted by Allah. Ridiculous!

  • And that is crazy that someone told her to not come back to the masjid again. She should have took her aside personally and talked with her kindly about appropriate hijab etc. She must have felt horrible. Alhamdulillah she met some nice people who could help her out and make her feel comfortable...

  • We gotta approach it in a good manner though. I know ppl get angry about comments on YT, but if something is not hijab, promoting hijab with tight clothing, flashy things and they are saying it is correct hijab, then something should be said!

  • I definitely agree with what you are saying. We DO have to try to correct something if it is wrong though. Hadith: Rasulullah s.a.w said : "If one of you sees (something) bad, he should change it with his his hand; and if he is not capable of that, then with his tongue; and if he is not capable of that, then (he should detest) it with his heart; and that is the weakest faith". ( Muslim )

  • In al-Saheeh, it was reported that Ibn Masood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: Allaah has cursed the women who do tattoos and those who have this done, the women who pluck eyebrows and those who have this done, and the women who file their teeth and change the creation of Allaah. Then he said: Should I not curse those whom the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed.....

  • As-salaamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatu Allahi wa Barakatuh,

Alhamdulillah the sister had such a strong Imaan. Unfortunately, her story is so familiar.

    Ummah...let us unite upon al-HAQQ!

  • indeed. dont front on another. it is more important that we love one another than judge one another. i am not muslim, and i dont see why to say someone else to wear right things, when each person should control their own mind. one cant blame another for scanty dress, cuz if they are right with the most high they will have enough mind control not to be allured by it. there is jealousy and envy among people, and a title cant take that away. we must all control ourselves

  • One last thing,This Hijab issue has become a major distraction and tool of Shaytan. Instead of listening to the Kuthbah, a sister is instead focusing on telling the next sister about herself. What about one's Taqwah? Being that Islamis intention-focused, I beleive that Allah would forgive someone who incorrectly follows hijab,or something that is not even one of the pillars of Islam, if their intention is to be modest.Instead askthe sister if she knows her prayer?what is most important in Islam?

  • ASA,

For the sisters nit-picking about the correct way to wear hijab...please provide the surah or sunnah that states what correct hijab includes. Where does it limit color or style of hijab? Where does it say makeup, earrings, grooming, etc... is haram? This is not rhetorical. I really would like to know. And please do not insult my intelligence in your response. I am asking an honest question b/c no one has informed me of where this info is in the Quran or in Hadith. Shukran.

    Ma Salaam,

  • @biggaplus6 In Surat al-Nur, Allah says, "And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons.....

  • @biggaplus6 , or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss". (Qur'an 24:31).

  • @biggaplus6 Scholars have interpreted the directive to not display beauty and ornaments except what ordinarily appears. Extra adornment, like perfume, lipstick, dazzling eye colors, and the like are not permissible to wear in public. In short, any type of adornment which makes a woman look "made-up" and attracts amorous attention is not permissible, as this would defeat the whole purpose of hijab.

  • Najwa and Nadira,

Continue to do what you have been doing. The work that you do with your videos help people, particularly young women like myself, see the beauty of Islam. Your examples demonstrate how a young woman, such as I, can be modest and beautiful simultaneously. Please do not let the immense jealousy of some (who constantly bash your hijab based on their own personal beliefs) deter you from beautifully presenting yourself to the world for the sake of Allah.

  • can you do a video about muslim wedding a friend of mine is a recent convert ( im not) but wants to plan a $20,000 wedding ... we have no idea where to start .,,,

  • The Qur'an.

  • Alhamdulilah that sister went to another masjid, and that Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) blessed her with better companions. I feel joy when i see a revert MashAllah, and try to guide them, and help them when they have questions. I don't understand why any muslim would be so rude, espically when Islam teaches to be kind and helpful.

And as for the division with the Manhaj and everything I've experienced that. I tell those people I'm Muslim samething Allah(subhana wa ta'ala) refers to me as in

  • wats the point of wearing the hijab which is like a disguse and yet u wear that brightly colored one to stand out ????

  • its not a disguise.. its a modest cover over your beauty.. whats wrong with wearing colors?

  • cuz it makes u stand out , which is not the point of wearing hijab.

  • actually, in a western nation where most people don't wear hijab, wearing it (especially when it is all black) makes one stand out more. there is nothing wrong with standing out, as far as my (admittedly limited) understanding goes, its about modesty, not about whether or not you're noticed. (please correct me if i'm wrong on that, i m not muslim)

  • you're absolutely right kathy.

  • ok so when i wear all black i stand out too among all the people wearing colors.. whats your solution on that einstein?

  • my solution is that u need to stop being so stubborn , and do sumthing productive with your life .

  • wow, that reply was really powerful against my statement.. not. Bring me a real reply on why wearing a color is wrong... im sorry maybe we should just become invisible to better cope with your STANDARDS

  • hahahahahahahah and oh yea HAHAHAHAHA thats all u ever to to me with ur comments and reply's back , is u make me laugh . so dont think u are being smart mouthed or watever ur jus making a fool out of urself which is really sad.

  • Ok chica, keep making problems for nothing as you'd like, as its your right.. but don't expect Muslims to except your "approvals" unless you can provide us with your credits / certifications of Islamic knowledge achievements giving you the right to order whats the right or wrong for any Muslim individual.

  • and u have said ur final peace amen.

  • he prophet cursed the woman who pluck their eyebrows and the one who does it for her.sister this is an authentic hadeeth.there are certain conditions for the hijab.

  • asalamu alaikum sisters Nadira and Najwa,

i just wanted to advice you(naseeha) as your sister in Islam.i know alot of sisters may feel bad and angry in the way some sisters are dressing and exposing their bodies but these sisters should be told and advised in the right way.he prophet(saws) said my ummah will never unite on FALSEHOOD (innovation).

  • was that story about you >?

  • well atleast you dont have the golden eye shadow around your eye lids like the other videos you posted or do you ?

  • closet psycho's have shown themselves eh? :-)

  • You are only earning Allah's anger subhanallah and you still are in denial. May Allah Guide you.

  • Walaikum salam

    your sister in islam

    pinkmuslimah

  • Wa alaikum salaam wa rahmatuallh Sis

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion however you have misinterpreted our videos. We encourage all muslimahs to wear proper hijab. We have never received any video responses or comments from you.

    Jazakallah khair

Love for the sake of Allah,

    Nadira & Najwa

  • you encourage sisters to wear earrings?? the hijab is not just the headscarf its the whole outfit and you are telling people the headscarf is the hijab. you DONT encourage sisters to wear hijab you encourage them to innovate and make fitnah. do you know if you purposely uncover your awrah when u pray salat ur prayer isnt valid?? i just don't get why you either don't wear it or wear it properly and stop encouraging other muslims (esp reverts who might not know) that this is ok to dress like this.
