This is so wrong in so many ways. First. You don't make it in to a smallest possible "catalysator" if this is really the thing that's going to change the way world thinks of energy. The ONLY reason to release this invention and tec to people in a hosehold sized units, is that ONLY the eco-morons that buy in to anything green, would be dump enough to belive it. Think about it.. Make a reactor in northen Italy, sell the energy to central Europe. But no. Just home-size models. ;D It's a hoax.

Why not build a cheap building, take the rest of the money and live like a king in thailand or something. Just say "ooops, the calculations were off." or something.

@Asymmatrix - Rossi is already a multi-millionaire and owns several successful businesses. He has no need of investment. And there has ALREADY been validation by several physicists who've ruled out any conventional energy source. A "classic scam" is where they ask for money without proof. Don't see how this could be a scam when Rossi is saying NO to investment until it is proven. You need to go and research the story a in a lot more detail as it's obvious you have not been paying attention.
