  • @MsGhostrider12 ok so i saw you what you replyed too, and you completely wrong. as to why you dont see it on tv liike i said, and the fact they called it an exhibition shot. u plonker thanks for making me look into why your being a twat and finding your twat reason to comment on my true post. sometimes its ok to take advise from the people who know how and not think you need to correct them.

  • @MsGhostrider12 i wouldn't worry about it MsGhostrider - @1478ball is a complete and utter prick, leaving idiotic comments all over YouTube

  • @kingtut147 Thanks, yeah so it would appear from the remarks he's sent me already. Always some prick somewhere trying to cause shit, I aint got no time for people like that man. Got enough on my plate mate, last thing I care about is some ignoramus like that, but thanks for the reply x

  • the guy @ .20 in the bottom right enjoyed that a bit too much

  • That's the most fucking amazing shot I've ever seen to get out of a snooker shit hot!

  • right in the middle of the brown..

  • Amazing

  • Not as brilliant as David Vine's jumper!

  • Who's that sitting next to David vine?

  • @fatmarkstewart Not totally sure but I think it's David Icke.

  • @CREGGANMAN1 I don't think that is David Icke, having watched it again I think it's one of the early snooker commentators that had more success in billiards than snooker.

  • @fatmarkstewart I still think it's David Icke.He was David Vine's deputy on BBC snooker for a few years.Good luck and thanks for replying.

  • Ronnie O'Sullivan was the one who disliked this

  • One other brave man has also done this in a tournament! (the one who disliked)

  • The screw back off the pink was amazing " i remember watching it "

  • How can anyone dislike Jimmy White?

  • 1 dislike wtf

  • nobody has played the shots he has played theres like 20 shots of his that nobody could play

  • sweet shot

  • awesome shot, but i can think of cooler ones

  • OoO

  • no one on youtube yet has found Jimmy's "banana shot" on the yellow at 1996 world championships

    100 times better than this

  • @Mirren81 I remember that shot also. It was the shot of the championship on top ten countdown at the end of the coverage for that year

  • where is david vine now

  • @48rxxygm He died of a Heart attack in January 2009 aged 74.

  • Jimmy what a shot!!!!

  • wow what a wild crowd. . . NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @DaBigChalk1991 What a great comment - not.

  • Sheer class

  • that's ridiculous.

  • florian kohler does that shot daily

  • masee'

  • If you were to trail the shot it would read like a question mark. ?

  • @noele10 .. He is better player than some if the world champions you wanker .. you want me to write names ???? You obviously don't know much about snooker and for a person like you, there are only two snooker players that ever existed - Davis & Hendry ..going by their wc titles !!!

  • @manpreet5553 yeah Jimmy White's a shit hot player mate, couldn't agree with you more. It's not always about titles when it comes to how good someone is necessarily.

  • mind blowing

  • wow !

  • Jimmy White happens to be a bloody good pool player. That's how he did it.

  • That was fuckin awesome.

  • amazing shot!

  • wow...just wow.

  • Jimmy deserved to win world championship. This guy is amazing !!

  • @manpreet5553 he had enough fuckin chances thats for sure fuckin twat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @noele10 that was his first attempt at an escape from this snooker. wtf are you talking about?

  • @manpreet5553 Yeah he sure did mate.

  • Back in the days when snooker was fun and entertaining ....

  • @brassoGB I think they've overdone it by changing the tables so much

  • @brassoGB Yeah, trouble is, players can't really play those kind of shots anymore, because the cloths and tables are so different now. If you ask me, they have done far too much to change the tables in my opinion.

  • let's not throw genius around to readily . . . its just a shot.

  • the only way to do that without ripping the cloth these days.. is by using a small square piece of felt lol, like in practice. But of course that'd be stupid in a match to bring that hahha

  • WoW!!!

  • I met the guy the other day. He lost to john parrot, dennis taylor, and chris thorburn. In case your wondering, it was a snooker legends tour.

  • Cloth's may be lighter but Jimmy at his best could play any shot there is.Without a doubt the best player to never win the world title.Just a shame he got a bit uptight against hendry in 2 of them finals.

  • Total Genius.

  • WTF!!! Sweet as. By the greatest player never to win the world title.

  • Awesome shot!

  • oh my good god. without doubt the best snooker shot i have seen

  • GVGVGVGVJK

  • wow

  • Speechless!!!!!!!!

    Awsome!!

  • JUST ENJOY IT, DEADLY SHOT

  • The reason you dont see shots like that today is the cloth. The cloth now used is much quicker and finer, it doesn't "grip" as much as the older cloths which were slower and heavier. You can see shots to the middle pocket which do not go in today would have 20 years ago due to the thicker nap.

  • @DaleGribble1000 the reason you don't see shots like that today ? shots like that never really happened in any day !!

  • Comment removed

  • @DaleGribble1000 This shot is still possible today, even with the quicker naps.

  • @DaleGribble1000 thanks for your explanation. I saw they could pot balls that were very close to the cushion easier back then too. Guess this new cloth is the reason Ronnie doesn't play as fast as he did.Well that plus he's older.

  • @DaleGribble1000 im confussed, im an on off snooker player, had maxs, 1000+ tons over the years, but from my experience the thinner cloths react so much better, even from screw shots, the arch is alot bigger than possible on the thicker cloth. also you dont see these shots in mordern snooker as its alot easier to come off cussion than play that!

  • @1478ball I'd say it wholly depends on the player as to what's easier.

  • @MsGhostrider12 i dont no what your replying to, so have no answer, but that statement is probably right altho there are easy shots and hard shot, so it dont always depend, but players will have preference

  • @DaleGribble1000 lol and probably get ripped as well

  • nice shot jimmy, magnets lmao, not that hard to swerve it, just very risky and hard to judge. not to good for you tip either!

  • Sorry then I guess we'll just have to disagree on this. Still a great trick whatever he used.

  • I've never seen this shot done at all in a professional snooker match. Using the cushions is boring - unless a magnet is placed inside the cushions.

  • If there was no magnet involved, why does no player do these kind of shots today? The reason is because nowadays players have to pass a metal detector test before they play.

  • @bazmataz lol, are you serieus?

    1. These shots are done today as well, but not so often in snooker. You see them regularly in three-cushion billiards.

    2. A lot of snooker players would prefer to use the cushions of the table to hit brown. Giving curve to your ball is much more risky.

  • not so often in snooker? Do you even watch snooker? It's never done to that extent... only slight swerves. And yes, in pool and billiards it's done often and they always look great... ever tried it? it's bloody difficult (for me anyway)

  • if you're being funny then it's funny. If you're serious then what the hell's wrong with u man?

  • what a stupid cunt u are son!!

  • There is a magnet on the ball probably which he then uses another magnet in the brown to attract it to.

  • @bazmataz lol no

  • dont be stupid...u obv dont watch snooker...no magnets or ricks...just pure talent!!!!!

  • Hahahahahaha

  • No one would do that in a match besides Jimmy, some of the shots he plays are beyond people like Ronnie and Hendry.

  • soooooooooooo ccccccccccccccoooooooolllllll

  • genius

  • Comment removed

  • how did he do that?

  • Rest in Peace David Vine.

  • best shot ever...........

  • Quality

  • that's just insane

  • @PainDealer86 No, it's just JIMMY WHITE--the uncrowned king of Crucible.

  • nice snooker escape

  • that is out of this world .................
