WOW!! This is a classic. 1975's Rockin Chair by none other than Gwen McCrae. I remember dancin to this at family reunions in my youth. Especially the summer of 1975. Doin the bump and funky chicken. Dangit...my wife's asleep upstairs, so I can't turn this song up. Man...I've loved this tune since I first heard it! In my opinion, this song is at it's best when played with some volume, and the bass cranked up high. I really like how "TheNewSoul" has brought out the drummer's high-hat to front and center...something that couldn't be heard over the radio back when this song was peaking in the mid-70's....nicely done!
