  • Cool man. Hey they had one machine in the Pierrot Club in Dublin. I was only getting good at the game when they moved it out.

AL THE MAGNIFICENT (72 Speed Boosts. 1.4m )

  • Ah,I can see myself now. Entering the Hungry Howies looking towards the right to see that one game of many that sucked at. Good times.

  • Man, this game was my SHIT way back when.

  • Holy cow! This game I remember as a kid being a favorite of mine, but could not remember the name of it. Been looking for this for years! Thank you for posting this! :D

  • stun runner !! crazy to see it now. i beat it once! cost me 11 quarters! lol

  • STUN RUnner was so awesome in the arcade. The local arcade that closed about 10 years ago sold theirs for $500. I wish I had the money for it back then.

  • This was my favorite arcade game when I was a kid. When Wipeout came out I thought it was a complete rip off of stun runner.

  • The PS 2 version was shocking, couldn't wait to get home to play it and it was terrible.

  • What would you rate this game out of 5?? Please tell me soon. Thanks

  • @sagar429

5 OUT OF 5, This of course is from my experience back when I was 10. OP thank you so much for posting this, man I had a hard time finding this game!

  • Are the graphics in this version as choppy as they appear to be in this video?

  • nah me old lap top was pretty slow

  • This version is the arcade version, which was much smoother than it appears in this video. I tested this game with MAME32 Plus v0.105u5 and it runs smoothly on a Pentium M @ 1.73 GHz and 512 MB of RAM.

  • it moves pretty fast ,a bit like f zero 64

  • I remember playing this at the old Button's Arcade at Marketplace Mall in Cicero, NY when I was in middle school.

  • I used to play this at an arcade in Winnipeg. I remember when i finishe dmy midterms in 1991 I went to the arcade with the intention of playing a whole 8 quarters on it! As a reward to myself!

  • sweet voice dude!

  • this is mame.

  • I am Soooooooo thrilled to see S.T.U.N. Runner being enjoyed again!!!this was my fave game for years thru the early 90s & I have been gutted not to be able to get hold of it!!I would love to know how to get/install a working version for my pc (Win XP home/ serv pk 2) All the versions with MAME I've tried haven't installed or worked- sob :-( so if any one could help I'd be very grateful!!

  • pm sent

  • what game system are you playing on because on the xbox it doesn't look like that

  • This the Atari Arcade game on MAME

  • This game was great. I used to play it all the time at the Golden Skate in San Ramon, CA back 17/18 years ago.

  • COOOOL

  • my fav since '92!

  • lol funny voice

  • I played on the version that you sit on. a Futuristic bike style control System. Over 17 years ago. Great memories.

Very well played there. Thanks for spending your time sharing with us

  • My fave game of all time!!!! So sad when the machine was stolen from the only arcade that had it in my area...Happy when it came out on PS2

  • That suckz, n I didn't know this was on the ps2. What was it like?

  • It wasn't the same... I like sitting on the arcade version and plugging quarters in it :)

  • That looks older than me, he he good though I must say

  • We used to play this didn't we?

  • Yup, in Butlins

  • was this on one of those midway games on a console like xbox or whatever?

  • It was an Atari game. It was an arcade game and I have an Atari Lynx version as well.

  • @Warrenz79 I may have told you this in the past, but I think the Lynx version is fucking sweet, I used to have it on my Lunx back in 1996, but I got rid of it when my Lynx broke, I want another copy badly now I have a working Lynx again. Persionally I prefer the Lynx version to this one, but that's because I've so used to the Lynx version. This one looks as if it should have been on the Atari Jaguar.

  • @Lachlant1984 aye the lynx ver is gr8. pm me if ya want info on playing it, n this is the arcade version. feckin' love it.

  • Aye it's great..hard n frustrating at the same time..I used to waste all me money trying to beat it ^_^

  • I LOVED this game when I was a kid...it's one of the first 3D games I remember. So much fun, and I love the visual style. :)

  • Nice. I'll watch part 2 and 3 later.

  • man, oh man, i remember playing this one years ago, i was probably about 5 or 6, so i never got past the 1st level, but i remember plaing it, and haven't seen it since.
