Holy cow! This game I remember as a kid being a favorite of mine, but could not remember the name of it. Been looking for this for years! Thank you for posting this! :D
STUN RUnner was so awesome in the arcade. The local arcade that closed about 10 years ago sold theirs for $500. I wish I had the money for it back then.
This version is the arcade version, which was much smoother than it appears in this video. I tested this game with MAME32 Plus v0.105u5 and it runs smoothly on a Pentium M @ 1.73 GHz and 512 MB of RAM.
I used to play this at an arcade in Winnipeg. I remember when i finishe dmy midterms in 1991 I went to the arcade with the intention of playing a whole 8 quarters on it! As a reward to myself!
I am Soooooooo thrilled to see S.T.U.N. Runner being enjoyed again!!!this was my fave game for years thru the early 90s & I have been gutted not to be able to get hold of it!!I would love to know how to get/install a working version for my pc (Win XP home/ serv pk 2) All the versions with MAME I've tried haven't installed or worked- sob :-( so if any one could help I'd be very grateful!!
@Warrenz79 I may have told you this in the past, but I think the Lynx version is fucking sweet, I used to have it on my Lunx back in 1996, but I got rid of it when my Lynx broke, I want another copy badly now I have a working Lynx again. Persionally I prefer the Lynx version to this one, but that's because I've so used to the Lynx version. This one looks as if it should have been on the Atari Jaguar.
man, oh man, i remember playing this one years ago, i was probably about 5 or 6, so i never got past the 1st level, but i remember plaing it, and haven't seen it since.
Cool man. Hey they had one machine in the Pierrot Club in Dublin. I was only getting good at the game when they moved it out.

This was my favorite arcade game when I was a kid. When Wipeout came out I thought it was a complete rip off of stun runner.
